Just a quick note for all the people who sub this channel or are just tuning in. Theycallmeheat has a boom bap beat production course that is definitely worth the price. I was hesitant at first because I am not an FL studio user and FL does tend to have a lot to it that doesn't really work the same with other daws. Matter fact, I'm a maschine user... and it was still very relevant. Just like boom bap in general, the course is dealing with relatively simple concepts but when you put it all together, you can really hear the difference. Wanted to show love to someone who isn't trying to charge hundreds of dollars for one course, and is not just putting together something shitty to get your money.
Bassline added the life to this beat and you skimmed over it 😢. 🙌🏾
hello from France ; I make Beats since 2 years and I watch a lot of video on RUclips to learn but i think you are one of the best teacher I have found ; I work on Ableton but now I make my Beats with your method ; thanks a lot for all your work and all this inspiration you give ; have a nice day .
That’s super dope!!! So glad my videos have helped take your production to the next level. I always share gems in my videos, this confirms people are picking them up. 🙏🏽💯
I appreciate the tutorial man my prob is trying to make variations to samples that have vocals, like something i took off vinyl. You know the intro is usually good but its once i get past what i do with the intro section that i struggle to find sounds within the sample that i can chop, that compliment the beat if that makes sense.
Maybe you can find another song to chop up
Wow, your beat in the background while you are talking is fire
Thank you my friend!! I appreciate that. 💯💯
Bro your sample eat is years ahead of time 💯
Been working on my ear for years. Thanks fam.

Which Kaelin Ellis kit was that snare in?! Would really like to have it man.
vol 8 fragments
could you make a video about how you choose those drum sound? I know that it's about 90% about the feeling :D But still, you have to have something else there.. right?
Not at all. I just developed my ear, and I know what type of sounds I like.
Where can we get the background music for this video?
Use the time warper to fix it mayne
That's why ableton is way better for boom bap n general
Oh word
Peace Heat it's been a minute since I've had time to tune in bruh hope all is well. I'm about to turn up on my IG and one of the things I'm going to do is feature other Producer's work that I respect as a form of support and you're one of those cats! I was wondering if you'd agree to allowing a few snippets of THIS video to be included in my Producer support segment? I assure you it'll all point back to you and your brand fam....
What’s going on Messiah. That’s perfectly fine fam. Thank you for thinking of me and wanting to showcase my work. 💯
Fire beat bro, love your tutorials they really help, btw it would be awesome if you make video about Fruity Slicer, everytime i use it my sample sounds robotic af🤨🧐
not sure if you’re still asking this question, but here’s my long answer
it depends on how many slices you have and how much you’re rearranging the sample (which kind of go hand in hand if you think about it.)
for example, the piano sample in the world is yours by nas (prod. pete rock) is really organic sounding, with there only being a couple chops (will upload and reply a deleted video from pete rock’s insta of him playing the song from the original SP-1200 floppy,) while the piano sample in thieves in the night by black star (prod. 88 keys) has a couple more chops that are consequently rearranged more, making it sound more robotic and artificial.
making your samples sound artificial like that can be used to great effect just like organic samples, it all depends on how you execute it.
if it sounds good it sounds good after all

How do you auto quantize in fl studio?
cntrl and a
First!
If you say "over ten years" you don't need to also say "plus", it's redundant.
Thanks. I’ll remember to speak perfectly for you next video.
