For engine start I usually advance throttles by about 1 cm. Then I push the starter switch to the right and let the blades rotate for a couple of seconds. After that I push the primer switch to the right and advance the right mixture lever to its full position. After the engine starts I adjust the throttle to maintain about 700-1000 RPM. Repeat for the left engine.
Just bought the Caribou, great value, nice modelling and great to fly. Nice choice of scenery, Mt Cook New Zealand. Flown around there many times years ago, brings back memories, pretty realistic.
This is a great aircraft for the price, got it the day it released. Love the old steam gauge planes. But there might be a bug with the W&B. The FWD and AFT limits overlap. Any changes to the fuel or payload causes the CG out of limits warning.
Honestly, I’m shocked that this aircraft was only $15! I’ve been flying it for several days now and it’s amazing in detail and performance. Do you think the TACAN function will ever be implemented or is this pretty much all we’ll get?
Thanks, Q8Pilot for your great review.
Thank you for watching and for your support!

It is indeed a lovely bird (ugly looking, but beautifully modeled). Thanks for watching and the tip!
Nice one, thank you Osamah! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks Patrick!
I sure wish there was a manual on this aircraft. If any one finds one please let me know. Great video!

It is a bargain for sure. I don't think we will see the TACAN function no, this is pretty much it I think, but I could be proven wrong =)
The Dash 4!
Nice; thanks for posting eh :)
GREAT INTRO!😅
Thanks =)
Excelente.
Great review. Is Orbx NZ Mesh used in this video or only WU data?
Thanks for watching, I am using the NZ mesh as well.
Thankyou for this review. Have picked the aircraft up.
Thanks for watching and do enjoy it!
Is this MSFS or real life? Scenery and aircraft is just stunning.
Thanks for watching my friend. This aircraft is seriously a lot of fun to fly and a wonderful addition to the MSFS fleet.
@@Q8Pilot when is your next stream?
Love this plane, but sadly I've been having problems with the 430 in it.
Just use radios for navigation, it is much more fulfilling.
Thank you for an awesome Video. I haven't bought it yet as I am holding out for the ATSimulations Antonov. BTW, which landing Rate tool are you using?
Thanks for watching! I am using a Flow Pro widget for the landing rate.
Nice!
What airport is this?
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks for watching! The airport is Mt Cook New Zealand.
I bought it. For $15 it is a steal
Enjoy it my friend, and thanks for watching the video!
Also I sent you a message on discord about an important update to what’s going on if you want to see it
I will check it out now, sorry been away from discord.
@@Q8Pilot it’s okay, I’ve been away from discord recently too, I’ve been very focused on what I just told you :)
