Great representation of Geezer in the Dio era! This laid-back track left plenty of space for the bass. Pulling up some live versions, I noticed that for the fast triplet bass run in the 2nd verse, Bill Ward kept a straight beat, but after Vinny Appice got behind the kit, he followed that fill. Either approach is cool, but it's nice knowing Geezer was such a driving force that drummers were really paying attention to him.
That Rickenbacker bass sounds / looks amazing I absolutely love it and you play ✨👌🏻great nice and clear with just the right amount rumble on it and look damn good doing it ! 😊 Geezer Butler definitely approves! ( Lemmy would probably also like that!) Can’t imagine how that could have been any better really! 🎸🤘🏻 Happy New Year 🥳 Becky ! 😊

You'd think a bass nerd with a couple of Rickenbackers would at least do one Rush cover. rofl. Yes had some stuff with Rickenbackers on it as well but I suspect you don't want to do a 20 minute In and Around the Lake. :P Some old Kiss stuff might be good fodder for the cover tune cannon. No Ricks for Gene Simmons, though. That's a good job on that cover, though. I should go back and check out all the old Sabbath stuff with Dio. Always loved his solo stuff. Never thought to check out his origins.
