A very nice old Needle Nose indeed, I drove a 1953 like that when I started trucking in the 60's. A lot of folks don't realize that although these KW's said Canadian Kenworth Vancouver BC the factory was in fact in Burnaby BC. I visited that plant many times over the years until it was closed.
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸. I think it adds such excitement when you can hear/read the background on a vehicle, especially a fine truck like this one! I’ve never heard of a truck being made without a speedometer, ever! They do some funky things on older vehicles & this about tops the cake for me. I really like it when something very unique is made for a certain model of truck, something that sets it above any other manufacturer. This guys must love KWs & trucks in general. It’s unusual that a truck will be restored so many times, even one that is worked as well. I agree that this truck would probably look better with a sleeper back on it, but I could take it either way. It is quite a beautiful truck. Love the bumper & fender setup/upgrade that he made to it! See, like I said, when trucking gets into your blood, it’s there to stay. I’m always glad when I see an old rig like this that has had so much love poured into it, especially if it’s driven frequently or worked some. Top notch job for a top notch truck. Wonderful!! 🥰🤩✌️

I have drove that truck around a little bit never worked it but I was good friends with John he was a great guy hard to imagine it’s been over 30 years since he passed

Awesome truck! I learned to drive on a 65 Canadian Kenworth, it wasn’t as nice as this one though.

These trucks were for work, not pleasure driving like a car. Make it look like it’s going to work, not church. Paint the top of the plate I don’t care, but the truck isn’t a car.
