Gonna be a good dependable engine when you get it all together, I can tell you are a smart man with the reference to ford and Mopar using good metal . There's hardly any ridge in the bores normally, I've seen lots of Chevys cylinders wear uneven in the bore and have a big ridge on one side as well, not knocking them but seen it many times on the few I've built
Exactly 💯 correct! The GM blocks for some reason don't last into the mega miles without boring blocks and set of Pistons... I built a 400 Pontiac for a buddy of mine doing his GTO and was the same thing... it needed boring.... lol. Just is what it is..... 🤷 thanks for watching!
I got agree with you that thing looks great for the miles on it.. I have 3 rollers a 90 360 in my 74 charger a 89 318 in my 87 ramcharger and another 89 318 in my 72 dart they are great engines very tough that will out last most engines being built today it's just the truth.

I saved a Jeep ZJ from the scrap yard with the 318 254k on it and it runs just as good as a new car. They don’t make them like they used to.
