I should change my clutch and probably do the trans fluid..best thing about the videos is that I can always go back and watch them over again.your pritty good at showing in details how to do something
Do the foxbody have TOB failures like the new edge mustangs? Everyone always says use ford racing tob over the ones that come in a clutch kit.... I've had best luck with timken tob. There's a video I made about ford's TOB on my page fwiw.
So I just got these relocation brackets and the half inch bolts don't go thru my control arm am I missing something? Cuz the factory control arm bolts are to small for the hole in the relocation bracket
With all of these nice parts, that car is gonna earn itself a nice paint job after all. So far it seems that a couple more tenths of effort and this car could be a stunna. Better now, than having regrets later for what could have been.
If I’m not mistaken… you aren’t supposed to use thread locker on flywheel bolts. You are supposed to use thread sealer as they pass through the crank and can possibly leak onto the flywheel/clutch disc surface and make your clutch slip.
Blue thread lock also acts as a sealer. Nitrous express calls for it to seal all their fittings. It was also what the service called for for my friends c7.
Buddy I’ve never heard of lower control arm relocation brackets til now when i parked my car in 2013 because of it being dangerous due to worn out suspension i decided to put it on jack stands til it was safe …. Ok so when i started upgrading i was blessed with money so everything got upgraded … i put UPR suspension under it … if i known about the relocation brackets i probably would have bought them too …. Are they really worth bolting on ????
Love the progress - for the holes on that relocation bracket why couldn’t you just drill the inboard hole and then keep drilling through to outboard side without pulling the bit? Long enough bit required of course.
"this thing's gonna hook in a mud puddle ya'll" ...BREW2L, that is the most southern thing I've heard you say yet!! LOVE IT!
Hook in a mud puddle! 🤣 love it!
In order to drill without burr bit, use large masonry bit and drill straight through both holes.

I got that same clutch kit from LMR this spring drove the car all summer 6000 miles has held up great to my spirited driving! Good budget clutch kit
With all these awesome new parts, i can see this snowballing into that rabbit hole of body work and painting, making some serious headway.
coming together very well
Yes sir looking good on the bottom side!! Won't be long you're goan end up putting a nice paint job on her 😁
You should put tread sealer on the flywheel bolts so oil won’t seep out of them and make you think rear main seal is leaking
Blue locktite.
As always you tell a lot of good stuff. Most people don't
Keep the good content coming love

Same clutch I put in my car. So far I'm very happy with it. It definitely grabs and doesn't slip. 😅

Thank you. That would definitely work. My bit wasn’t quite long enough though.
