    Nice, great playing. Drum phrases were played great in the way they fit in with the music.

    There is a bunch of chords..

    • @jas_bataille
      @jas_bataille Год назад

      Two voices harmonies ain't chords. I know you're trying to play it slick because technically you can have two notes chords, but no, there are no chords in there.

    Horn section is obviously talented but boring. Drummer is slick.

    I've been wondering what that noise was coming from the vacated house across the street. Should have known it was band practice. Keep up the good work.

    Flat and unimpressive ..lacks dimension , energy and obviously ..talent..
    Keep.practicing

      @shawnmckeown I played professionally for 40 yrs incl Lou beldon, jim.chapin, Max roach and many others..charts were demanding as were the band leaders...
      Yes that's my critique
      If you post to social media .be prepared to meet some criticism..if it were good..I'd say so..

      @@willshaughnessy8515 no one asked for your negative review. As a musician for 40 years, you should work on lifting up your fellow musicians rather then insulting them and telling them to go practice. Put your ego aside and have some decency.

      I’m guessing you’re currently a solo artist.

      @@larrytate1657 Actually ..I played with the likes of many of the loing gone greats.. Incl my Uncle Ed, Max, Art, my teacher JIm Chapin, Louis Bellson.. quite a few others.. so I say this with great empathy, no one at that level is going to sugar coat your ego.. you get busted down and you build yourself up to meet their level or you forget it, and go home..currently Im on haitus bc of Covid..and ,any of my bandmates are long gone,, But I am recoring and writing my accounts and travels to study Ritual Vodun Music in Benin.. which is where I met and played with Max Roach and many others.. it was a privalege ,.,but you also had to prove yourself,,
