    Is funny, because listening to insane base drum sounds fast and deep actually got me into drumming. So your point is so valid. With that being said, and on a side note, I'm always amazed at the depth and fullness you guys get out of these smaller set ups. Thank you for teaching thing's that really make a difference

    I was just listening to Simple Minds, alive and kicking, and although not a complex song, the drummer did a great job of playing consistent and once he got to the chorus, it was awesome!

    I personally think that groove also comes with flow. You need to have enough muscle memory and repetition in your pockets to be able to groove freely.
