Met both guys after their Century Crack climb at a meet in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. They signed my copy DVD of that infamous climb. Love their content, awesome blokes. Not a climber now, but spent weeks in the four corners area. Drove down the Shafer trail
(Canyonlands) and around the White rim trail, camping, before getting out the next day. An amazing place to explore.

Do you know where the name "HMS carabiner" comes from? HMS is German and stands for "Halbmastwurfsicherung", which translates to "munter hitch belay". So an HMS carabiner is literally a "munter hitch belay carabiner" 😊.
