All my highest respects to you for making this video, but this is really an opportune moment to criticise Heatblur Simulations for giving us a mid 1980s model F-14B instead of a late 90s F-14B. The latter featured many systems pulled from the F-14D such as GPS navigation, Digital Flight Control System and an even better state-of-the-art SparrowHawk HUD.
I dont think there’s much to criticise for a developer making a model of the aircraft correctly for a set period. Sure the b+ is ‘better’ but often having problems and issues with the time / design are what give these modules character, make the simulation more interesting and stand out from the others. Give it an fcs and it’l no longer feel like the same lively tomcat. I would be all in favour of a D model being made available one day, but if i had to choose D model or A and B/A+ i’d go with the latter.
@@RedKiteRender we will get a late 70s F-14A after early access finishes so people who want the period accuracy of the early unmatured Tomcat will get it, but other people wish to see the Tomcat as it was intended to be in its true definitive form as a late D Tomcat should also get it. Flight manuals D Tomcats are freely available if one does a Google search so Heatblur shouldn't have any excuses.
Question: If you accidently screw up the 'heading' of your ownship in the INS by...let's say... trying to set Navgrid, (theoretical, didn't actually happen yesterday.) is there a way to correct this?
One question - are you meant to use one of your precious 3 Waypoints for the fix, or should you use the FP point instead? Is that what it's for? Does FP show up on the scope?
@@RedKiteRender.. that was sad.. Would have liked to see a video/ toturial on The Viggen made by you. But I check out xxJOHNxx channel and thanks for the tip!
ive not had the time to test it, but i do know that it’s not as useful as you’d think. It will only synchronise your ins to the one on the aircraft you’ve selected, so you’l still have their errors. So an aircraft on the way home, could sync with one who just arrived on station i guess. But otherwise it wont correct the ins for a pair of aircraft flying the same mission, unless one had a fairly serious issue with the ins and it’s drifting at an accelerated rate.
Oh my apologies, im away at the moment, i produced the video a while ago, must of forgotten, il fix that. Here’s the link forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=206097
@@RedKiteRender Thanks man! Good work. The RIO pit really needs some demystifying for a lot of us, I think. I still feel pretty lost most times I'm back there, especially doing things with the CAP.
That Kettenkrad with Thomas Kreuz riding it alond the runway. ;)
*Cough cough* "Tom Cruise" *Cough*
I hope they enable this for Jester... I fly basically 90% in MP and not being able to jump into the rear seat makes a lot of stuff difficult.
4:31 Think you gave away, some of your production companies secrets there, buddy. 😂
Was a little reference to top-gun :)

Superb tip-of-the-hat to Top Gun at 4:31 🤣🤣
Beautiful camera shots. This plane continues to amaze me.

Very spicy, RedKite.
Hi Red Kite!
I'am a big fan of your chanel!
Do you have any plans to realease toturials of the swedish "Viggen" aircraft?
Unfortunately not i’d recommend looking up xxjohnxx

Does Jester do it if you are flying solo?
...we were in a little hurry when we had to leave the area. So I think we forgot Hans and his Ketten KRAD
Hey guys i have a question, how do you perform an INS update with datalink ?

@@RedKiteRender dont worrie about the precision process ;-) i only want to know how to do it !
4:24 nice
wow, Blufor cranks it after 7:45 on Tacview hahaha
So, is there any way to reset the INS if you're only flying with JesteR?
Sadly i do not think so.
Also, you didn't include the link.
