My left ear really liked this video.
Thank you for these tutorials/tips :)
The play dumb tactic is really awesome!
I been trying for years. I'm too good at it. 😵💫
Great Job man!! Tanks for this!
I don't know if you touch on it in the video, I believe the target size you choose affects the range the missile goes pitbull. Small target it waits longer and gives them less time to react.
You are right. I usually just leave it on medium, but there is no particular reason I do that. That's just something I don't usually change.
I don't think target size work on AIM-54C anymore. As might still be effective
@@xpk0228 target size doesn't work the Charlie. (no idea why) It does work with the Alpha, but then you have other problems.
which version of the Phoenix are you using?

I think that last F15E did not get the missile warning because he is so fast the missile ends up coming on top of him inside the RWR blind spot.
Shiny rocks!
(For me at least) The first ~3 minutes I only get audio in my left ear. I use THX spatial sound in my headset, so maybe it's primarily me, but I'm sure other people will have this as well. Anybody reading this and experiencing the same: It's solved after those ~3 min.
Sorry, I think I recorded that voice over in mono instead of stereo
@@shinysdcs1212 I'm still here, within the first hour after posting, enjoying your videos :D Keep up the good work!
One ear only gang reporting in o7
You sound similar to Theo Von.
I never heard that before...I played a clip of Theo Von for my wife and she said I did sound a little like him, so I guess you're right.
Every time I try a tactic like this, I can't stay hot long enough for the Phoenix to go pit. We usually close much faster than this starting hot and end up ~20 miles and his Aamram gets me before my Phoenix even goes pit. Kind of a head scratcher.
It's one of the many stacking problems that makes the f14 frustrating to use.
Jester not holding a lock is another.
You can climb in the back lock up a target. Then when jester gets back there he drops the lock. So you go back rip again. Get the target.
Again he drops it.
... And now you have bandits on you because you wasted time fighting with jester.
tips for A-pole assessment? launch range1/2+10nm ?
Great video, must curious if anyone could explain to me what zone 4 is?
Zone is altitude..zone 0 is 0 - 5000ft, zone 1 is 5000 - 15000, zone 2 is 15000 - 25000, zone 3 25k - 35k, zone 4 35k - 45k. On the F-14's TID, it is the number on the left side of the aircraft track.
Looks like someone really likes to admire 🌲 from close but hates snakes
Whenever I try this, I end up with my phoenix doing nothing and ending up in Sidewinder combat
Don’t worry. He just shoot down noobs which hard to find.
How are people taking the Tomcat to 54,000 feet & staying there? I cant keep it stable at that height without burning a ton of fuel
35 to 40 000ft is norm then when you fire add 10 degree nose up, that will give phoenix better reach.
How can you tell when your missile gone Pitbull
The count down number on the TID starts flashing, usually at about 18sec
How’d you get the satellite textures for tacview?

@@shinysdcs1212 Thanks! Great vid btw hope to see more
I'd suggest a stereo microphone or else panning your voice to the center in production.
