Ich denke er ist der einzige Sänger auf der Welt, der ein Quartett mit sich selber singen kann und dabei alle Stimmlagen von Bariton bis Sopran abdeckt. Die Kombination der verschiedenen Genres finde ich genial. Komponiert hat Dimash den Song selber, was ich aber noch grandioser finde ist, dass die Lyrics von einem Dear zusammen mit einer Songwriterin geschrieben wurden. Ich weiß keinen anderen Künstler, der einem Fan so etwas anvertraut.

So many people from around the world said "He has so many voices that he can do a duet or a trio of voices with himself!!" So he did, but is a quartet of voices.
Talking about his pronunciation in Spanish: If you are used to listen to opera, you´ll understand perfectly as he gets to Spanish phonetics from his Italian one and uses dark tones that change the opening of the vowels as in lyrical singing. The last (live) part is perfectly understandable.

@@JustMyOpinion1010 I've seen certain rock bands, songs, etc, where they deliberately spell words like that to be "kool". Like they might spell "kaos" instead of "chaos" - in fact, didn't the old TV series, "Get Smart" have a spy organization named 'Kaos"? I might be totally off, but
I'm just guessing that Damen's probably a younger guy & is just reflecting some rock or rap thing with a spelling like that. Alternately, isn't it spelled "vokal" in German? I'm not sure lol....

To be honest my reaction to this song the first time I heard it was a bit "Meh". I didn't think it was actually really bad, but I find my initial reaction to about half of the Dimash songs/performances I've encountered so far is more about being impressed by his abilities than unreservedly enjoying the song/performance.
But, like many other Dimash songs/performances, this has grown on me each time I've heard it (which is now about 20-30 times). Then again, I am definitely a Dear, so perhaps this effect is natural.
FWIW I'm pretty sure every member of the audience knew who Dimash was. Dimash isn't (yet?) well known in the west but I think a couple billion people in the east have been exposed to him and I recall him saying at that concert that folk had traveled from dozens of countries to see it.
You remarked that Dimash seemed especially serious. There's a TV interview with him when he was 10 years old. Everything he said was serious, reflecting on what's important in life. But yeah, while some of his songs are lighter, some pure fun, this song deals with the non-stop internal struggles we all have to get through as we travel through this insane world we live in, so full of light and dark. I love its combination of recorded Dimash's representing the cacophony of competing inner narratives and feelings, with the actual Dimash singing over them near the end, representing true presence both dancing with it all and ultimately being in charge.

This was his big concert right after the pandemic. I heard people flew in from 68 countries and must admit I considered flying in from Canada but did not have the money and time off for it. I heard the Concert was incredible. 🥰
@@irinaitins6770 That number is correct. 68 countries. 😊 35,000 people, about 80 % were from Kazakhstan so 20% from foreign countries flew in from all around the world for the concert. It was the biggest and most spectacular concert of the year 2022. It kicked off the Stranger world tour.

I'm so happy more people discover the soul side of Dimash. It's not new, we get a lot of the soul/jazz/pop side of Dimash during his solo concerts but those are not the performances most popular on RUclips.
Está canción es un regalo que hizo Dimash a sus Dears hispanohablantes. Nos había prometido una canción en español, y quería estrenarla en su concierto de Almaty de hace 7 meses( el que acabas de ver).Compuso la música y contactó con la presidenta del club de fans de México, quién a su vez consiguió que una cantautora mexicana escribiera la letra para esa música en solo dos días. En 20 días Dimash preparó toda esta puesta en escena y se entrenó en la fonética de la canción, la articulación no es excelente,pero a quién se queje me gustaría verlo cantar con buen acento en Kazajo en solo 20 días. La obra es maravillosa, un Dimash barítono, uno tenor y otro soprano le hacen el coro a un Dimash con clara inspiración en Michel Jackson, al que admira desde siempre. Un tema ecléctico que auna lo clásico, lo moderno y con una fuerza escénica visual brutal. Dimash, como dices, puede gustar o no gustar, pero que es un genio con un talento sobrenatural nadie puede negarlo. Saludos desde España 🇪🇦🇪🇦

A 3 year effort, a 14 minute diminished symphony the first since Franz Liszt in the 1800s then he wrote a screenplay for it, acted it sang it and put it in movie format and blasted into 21st century history, a first ! LA knocked on his door fast and he's there now in talks with executives and artists. Don't miss it ! Lookin'good haven't seen you in forever !
The negotiations and networking with Walter and David precedes SOOS. I'm sure that it really impressed them though.

@@hatussa8473 thats greatness we need creativity in this world where everything is the same. the thing i like about him is that half of his song are not epic sometimes full of emotion like omir. he gives a bit of everything. my only problem is that on youtube everybody focus just on his epic songs even in those song nobody try to see the complexity of the song just stay in the premier impression "his vocal". if you say he is exaggerating you didnt take the time to listen the song its not a song that you listen while driving or footing.
This was right after he had debuted the lengthy The Story of One Sky and this gave him a breather backstage for a bit. At the end, he turned to the images and thanked them for their help.

Now you know why the audience was surprised. This concert was in September 2022 in the city of Almaty, southeastern Kazakhstan. Everybody in that concert knew Dimash. People from 70 countries around the world attended. There were 35,000 people in this concert.
Next concerts, Armenia April 29, Turkey May 6 and Indonesia on June. This world tour will include 20 countries.
