I actually just found this video. I'm 20 years old and I'm going through some of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with in my life. And I've been struggling for a long time. I started listening to Good Charlotte when I was 12, and honestly their music has pulled me through some of the darkest nights and some of the scariest times. Whenever it got too hard, I put on their music and felt ok. Thank you for this video and for saving my life.

We didn't know if we should say hi because they were obviously trying not to raise attention. But then we did and they were so nice and down to earth. Joel even posed for pictures with us - in the middle of the café!!!. They really are awesome guys who genuinly care about others. I love GC forever!!!
This changed my life. Joel has such a big heart and I know he cares. Listen to what he is saying, it does get better, I have been through some very tough times, but it did get better. I still can't watch this video without bawling my eyes out! I love you joel and thank you for everything!! XOXO

when I was 12 I almost killed myself, I didn't, I can honestly say because I was listening to your music, going to your concerts. I'm 19 now and my dad died of cancer and my mum has it now and she apparently can't be cured but she's having chemo hoping to shrink it and i hope it does I didn't, this time not because of just your music, but because of my boyfriend. But your music was a lot to do with it too. so thank you. If I hadn't have seen you on MTV when I was 10 I would probably be dead.
