Oh YIKES. I was 12 when Jaws came out & was so terrified I could barely swim in a pool or lake that summer. I feel for the parents who took their kids on a beach vacation that summer 🦈

I am so scared of the ocean, and this is the reason why. You never know what could happen. If I get in, it’s only to get cooled off and I only stay in for 5-10 minutes.

There was an incident recently in Egypt where a guy was eaten alive by shark. The short clip filmed was horrifying. Some species of sharks can be aggressive towards human.
