A scar, a lost limb, an old injury that aches when its damp. A god is a being beyond the dimension of man. Take Lezard's example about a human and god both being able to be shifted into an elf's body. That doesn't mean they are equal. That simply means an elf can hold both. But a 1gb ram card can hold both 1gb of ram and one byte of ram. So it is with humans and gods.

I guess unlike your traditional demigod in myth or any other piece of media, Devine blood mixed with mortal can prevent you aging to old man/woman, while human part in your blood still allows you to change, like normal human can change over time.
