Smallant makes these videos so much more entertaining because he's such a little punk. He's either doing insanely smart and difficult spots, or banking on being able to dodge pretty much anyone else.
Ngl none of his spots have seemed difficult from all of the hide and seek videos I've watched (which is every one cuz I like watching some of the other ppl like poo or mars)
The other thing that’s so interesting is how many times he reveals himself on purpose when he’s actually not the last hider. Really he was giving a lot more time to amythest and fir just because he was having so much fun. And isn’t that the best reason to loose? Because you had way more fun? So I feel like he’s an honorary winner of that round too. Everybody wins. The weaker chasers get good practice and the far behind trailers were useful in catching him, smallant gets more fun, the remaining hiders get more time, everyone gets more great content, and this amazing editor gets to continue to show off their skills. I just hope everyone is getting enough sleep.
The funniest part was when Fir had the same exact idea as Smallant but had no idea Smallant was there until halfway through and just sees Smallant wall jumping to him.
This was such an amazing stream. I don't think I've ever seen Smant troll that much, he gave the other hiders so much free time by keeping the seekers focused on him.
So I have to say I love everyone who plays in these, but I really enjoy Crafty most of all. Crafty isn't really a streamer as far as I know or a speed runner but like has figured out half of everyone's brains and their tricks. He definitely has SmallAnt figured out a lot of the time. Really though everyone in here seems just so genuine, and nice.
ALSO props to amy (and anyone who assisted) with the time travel mod. it comes across SO clean, as if it was made to be a part of the game! it's super goofy and shows a creative application of knowledge about how the game works/what makes it more fun ;w;

Every time I see you now without the avatar, I can't help but feel so happy to see someone feeling confident in who they are. It's obvious, infectious, and heartening. The video was great! i really love the little edits you put in, like Crafty saying "I'll never leave you again" If you wanted to redo this without that delicious cheese, you can probably just not only recharge on the ground. You get all the chaos of rewinds, but none of the infinite walljumps
I really enjoyed the walls from this mod, it made it very unique and awesome to see spots previously impossible. There definitely should be a limit with it against constant movement spots, like walljumping, but using it to get to insane spots IMO is fair game.
Smallant is how I imagine sonic to be, only uses enough speed to outspeed others by a small margin and constantly taunting and pranking, it's just to funny
Now we need to combine all the mods that allows players to choose (or are randomized) a power like Time Travel, Shrinking, 2D/3D morphing. And maybe something extra for the seekers too
Man, I knew the modding community for odyssey was crazy but this is on another level. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if someone just decided to make a brand new game out of odyssey. I wouldn't put it past anyone.
I seeked (hehe) for more hide and seek footage of the group and was not dissappointed by tbh every channel including yours. Everyone seems to make such high quality contend with different pov's that every channel is absolutely worth watching imo.
Smant and Fir repeatedly having the same brain in this is sending me. Also Crafty's high-speed commentary in every chase is actually the funniest thing ever.
