    I was a big fan of Movies fights, and various other Screen Junkies programs. I remember watching an announcement in 2016 mentioning Andy, where they alluded to terrible things that occurred, without any clarification whatsoever. I've since learnt that 2016 was a year of victims. Both victims of harassment, but also victims of mob justice.
    I wish Andy all the best, as I've watched his channel since it's inception, and found him to be an honest, and entertaining RUclipsr. Good luck for 2021, Mr S.👍

    A youtube channel's popularity has to do with the personalities on the channel and the chemistry they have on-screen and less to do about the actual content. I find when a channel gets popular and they try and bring in more people is when I lose interest in a channel because a lot of the time the new people change what made that channel special.

    I absolutely hated SJ plus and its idea as a whole. Because when they put the first episode of their shows on RUclips, I saw them and I thought they are RUclips worthy content, not streaming price worthy. I didn’t even spend that much time on SJ except movie fights and HT. But I was gutted that TV fights, HT commentaries and Live Movie Fights were behind a paywall. And back then Max Landis came on so frequently and that guy was too pretentious for my taste. At that point I decided to switch my daily views from SJ to Collider and the Schmoes. SJ clearly had a better overall quality but Collider was free. Then the Andy stuff happened and at the end of 2017 I completely quit the LA film community. I still follow Jeremy and Chris but they’re the only people left in my feed.

    • @screenPhiles
      @screenPhiles 3 года назад +2

      RindouBaka No? Because then you haven't moved on. It's literally the definition of "moving on!" And we aren't talking about family so that's a nonsense comparison. And I can understand it if someone had asked him that question and he responded in the moment though that's not what we're talking about.
      If you're literally dedicating multiple episodes to what you've "moved on" about you kind of haven't done that thing.

    It's such a shame that this great thing -the COLLIDER Suite of programming - was killed by the toxic level that the Me Too movement sunk to, taking down Signore (albeit with his unintended help) and leading to the rapid collapse of the rest of this burgeoning franchise.
    Much as what happened with Cracked.com, poor management apparently killed the Golden Goose that was Collider; and now we all have to suffer the loss of the current continued and potential future growth of this once-great internet entity.

    • @chrisytfc879
      @chrisytfc879 3 года назад +3

      The collapse of these companies has nothing to do with Me Too whatsoever. It's to do with them throwing money at studio productions, then RUclips's ad revenue drying up, and realising they were spending unsustainable amounts of money. What happened at Cracked is well documented. You cannot make money employing huge production teams to make RUclips videos. But sure, blame women for not wanting to be assaulted.

    • @612Tiberius
      @612Tiberius 3 года назад +1

      @@chrisytfc879 ,
      You're wrong, of course; the Me Too movement obviously played a part in the demise of COLLIDER, which you would realize if you were to take your head out of your ass. But sure, engage in your virtue signaling if it makes you feel better.
