The first parts of the video is a flashback where she was with the guy and happy, all the good memories. But you can see the light fade around her in the chorus which means her happiness faded away and something happened (The guy leaving her or leading her on). In the second verse, she begins to feel depressed and sad while she reminisces over the times where she was with the guy. You can see her throwing things and messing things up because she's in pain. There is also a symbolism where a bandage that had the word love on it being pulled away, revealing a bullet hole which resembles a wound that's not healed.
In the end, she looks across from her realizing that the guy used to be across from her isnt there anymore, and then she looks at the camera in a close shot with pain and emptiness in her eyes.
She really is a great actor which is why directors of the blackpink MV's always gives her some kind of story or a scene that deals with acting. Thanks for reacting to Gone!! 🤗

The whole things you said was all right. But in the first part, it's not memories. It was just Rosé being alone in present but she fell deep in the time she was with her ex. It's dark, she just can't get over it. That's why we have the scene in the end of video.
Yeah...you should probably watch again...and maybe again after that. It can be hard to pick things up the first time through. The parts that Rose’ is happy in is her reminiscing when she was still with her significant other. As the video progresses it gets darker and darker till the very end and she realizes it was all her memories and she’s actually eating all alone.

I get what you mean about the juxtaposition in the video. Such seemingly disconnect elements make the video more effective for me. The intensity of the emotions embedded in the lyrics is amplified by the simple and laid back melody. The story telling is superb too. It caters to significant human experiences attributed to heartbreak and the after effects of brokenheartedness.
