I’m man enough to say that my eyes teared up when i listened to this song the second time… the first time i heard it on the radio while driving so i couldn’t really concentrate on the lyrics. But that second time… woo
ROSÉ made it her goal to write and produce her 2 songs as a solo artist and she succeeded, which is why she is the most complete and comprehensive blackpink artist.
fun fact:
ROSÉ participated in the composition and production of her 2 songs as a soloist and she is the only blackpink member who has done it, including the guitar that is heard in the melody of "GONE" she played herself.
Rosé is Kiwi born Aussie raised (since she was about 8 til moving to Korea to train at YG around 15), therefore a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER who speaks English better than Korean
Nobody was shot in this video, that scene is more like an abstract representation of the pain she´s in and how hard she´s been trying. It´s a band-aid that has written "love" over, covering a bullet shot. Nice reactions guys!
On The Ground *does* have a choreo. They just didn't show it in the music video. Rosé's debut performance of it was at Fallon. And the aesthetic is 👌

Rosé was born in New Zealand n does have citizenship of New Zealand..she lived there until she was 8 then moved to Australia as immigrant until she was 15 bcuz she have to move to S.Korea to become a trainee..so ofcuz she speaking english so damn well n confessed that she express herself better when she speak english..the reason why her two singles are all in english

English is pretty much her native language having been born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia.
When she first debut with BLACKPINK, she performed on King of the Masked Singer. The judges knew she was a "foreigner" because they said she had an accent when she sang in Korean.
"Band-Aids don't fix bullet holes" was the reference, meaning some things hurt too much to pretend that they don't.

ROSÉ 🌷 (roseanne park) was born in AUCKLAND- NEW ZEALAND, but at the age of 8 she went to live in MELBOURNE- AUSTRALIA, in 2011 ROSÉ was chosen among more than 700 applicants from all over ASIA who auditioned in MELBOURNE for the preselection she made YG ENTERTAINMENT to choose the 9 members of blackpink (blackpink was going to have 9 members in its initial plan), ROSÈ was the only one chosen in that audition of 700 participants since she made the judges fall in love with her voice and her guitar.

Jennie -> raised in New Zealand, also speaks English and Korean fluently
Lisa -> born and raised in Thailand, speaks Thai and English fluently. Korean is her 2nd/3rd language.
Jisoo -> born and raised in Korea. She's not fluent in English but she speaks it well than most Koreans.

Great reaction. I can see you are not up on Taylor Swift songs (kind of a bit embarrassed that I know this). The bullet hole visual is a reference to a line from Taylor's song "Bad Blood" , "Band-aids don't fix bullet holes". Kpop producers, they study all our music and know all about our music stars, pick the best and throw away the rest. Kind makes sense they reference Taylor, since Rose is basically the Taylor Swift of Kpop (the folk/indie guitar playing Taylor, not the poppy Me!/Blank Space Taylor).
