Featuring Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, and Stuart Cameron on guitar.
This footage was shot in May 2010 during the first leg of the Crash Test Dummies' "Oooh La La!" tour, in promotion of their newly released album. The concert was one of the best I've ever witnessed, with powerful raw vocals by Brad and Ellen and great acoustic melodies by Stuart. I encourage everyone possible to go see this concert live when you still have the chance, you won't regret it! This is the first tour that the Crash Test Dummies have done in many years.
The video was shot by myself and is very high quality.

Man, Ellen Reid's voice is still incredible and she is still stunning. There's very little that compares to her harmonizing with Brad Roberts. I wish CTD were still out there recording and touring, but their music was very niche.

The driving creative force in the band has been Brad Roberts from the very beginning. I'm not sure what 'demise' you're referring to; CTD released a CD in 2010 and as far as I know they never officially disbanded. Roberts and Reid were touring in 2011 to support their latest release. Your opinion of Ellen Reid's creative contribution to the band is ridiculous and unfounded; her keyboard playing and vocals are often a highlight on many CTD albums.

I totally agree. XTC was a FAR better band. I say that, and I worked for the Crash Test Dummies record label in Canada... BMG Music. So just imagine how crappy the Dummies would have sounded if Ellen Reid wasn't in the band! Imagine that clown Brad Roberts singing this? He would've ruined it. His voice was SO DEEP, it was horrible sounding. It sure never sounded like Rock or Pop to me. I wasn't a fan of them at all, because he sang lead most of the time.

As for your comment about weak album sales...by what stretch of the imagination does that have anything to do with Ellen Reid. Crash Test Dummies have a small but dedicated following; compounded by the fact that album sales in general have dropped significantly since the onset of digital music downloads. Of course they didn't sell very many albums. Get the facts next time before you write any more idiotic comments.
