HSK3 learning tips the sentence structure 越来越 和 越… 越…more and more…, increasingly”

你好！我是汉桥的老师，欢迎大家和我一起学习HSK3. 今天我们学习两个结构：越来越 和 越… 越… 。
“越来越…”means “more and more…, increasingly”. 意思是 “ 。。。”
We can add either an adj. or verb after it, and it indicates the change in degree occurs as time passes. 我们可以在它后面加 adj. 或者 v. 表示随着时间过去程度不断加深。
我们先看一下 “越来越”的例子：
越来越 + adj. 越来越 can be followed by an adj.
最近的天气越来越热。
他的中文越来越好。
越来越 + V.
当“越来越”is followed by a verb, it’s normally a mental verb, 比如 “喜欢，想and so on. 我们看一下例子：
我越来越想去中国。
我越来越喜欢吃中国菜。
In negative form, we put the negative word after 越来越：
否定形式，我们会把 否定词放在“越来越”后面。
我越来越不喜欢他。
我越来越不想上班。
第二个结构是：越A 越B 意思是“the more A the more B”, it’s also used to indicate a change of degree, but it means that B changes with A. 看一下例子：
中文有点儿难，但是越学越有意思。
中国菜很好吃，我越吃越喜欢。
这首歌越听越好听。
我们一起看一下以前的考试题：Past Exam:
这个城市的环境变得越来越好了。-H31001
手机使我们的学习、工作越来越方便。-H31002
我有一条小狗，和它在一起的时间越久，我越觉得它聪明、可爱。-H31002
越高的地方越冷，山路也越难走。-H31003
雨越下越大，天也变得越来越黑，街上一辆出租车也打不到了。-H31003
