- If you are dealing with constant pain in your lower back, this stretch is a quick and simple way to provide relief and stability. On average, our day-to-day routine lacks mobility. We can spend much of our time sitting at the computer for work or watching television at home. This lack of mobility can lead to a sore feeling in the lower back and chronic pain in the future.
Professor Nathan M Sermeno, DC, DACBSP walks us through each step of the child's pose along with alterations depending on your ability. Doing this stretch daily will help with that tight feeling in the lower back. This stretch, in particular, is a move in yoga flow that chiropractors have patients practice to ease their pain.
