I completely agree with your opinion. Surely, 2nd and 4th movements are awfully difficult. Anyway, this sonata is so enchanting same as B minor sonata. from Tokyo
Actualmente estoy estudiando está Sonata y puedo asegurar que no es nada fácil.. Cuánta expresividad y cuánto manejo de los dedos hay que tener.. Un desafío !!!

I am not the best at the flute, but for the high school solo and ensemble contest in my city, my director has picked the second moment of this for my solo. (Allegro 3:30 ) listening to it i'm surprised my director has that much faith in me being as last year he didn't want me to compete

There are 2 other Pasions from Bachs collection, St. Luke and St. Mark, that maybe by other composers.

I thought baroque tuning was like A=435 or somewhere around there, but this piece is being played at 447. Is the tuner malfunctioning? This sounds really sharp.
Not sure if there was really a standard, but general baroque tuning is at A=415 Hz, though the French seemed to prefer A=392 Hz. I was following along at A=440 HZ, and it definitely sounded off to me, as well... =P
Fabulous for practising or playing with friends . Keeps me moving forward and keeping to the beat. Don't have to think at all! Are there any scrolling manuscripts for Jazz pieces?
@@authenticmusic4815 they read it faster than if it's completely wrote. And it's improvised, never the same, something like jazz. But this is the result of practice. I know lot of musicians specialized in baroque music. Harpsichord or lutenist do that everyday. lot of training

Bach's flute sonata's are some of his best works as he can bring out so much lyricism and beauty with the instrument.

I enjoy very much the score scrolling simultaneously with the audio: it's very didactic.
Indeed! I am not a trained musician but this whay I can fully appreciate that
Beautiful flute playing! Wow

Category:For 1 player with continuo. That'll probably do for now
Flute tunes is free
I bought a bärenreiter Kassel (blue cover) book and it includes Basso Con., FB As well as piano and flute

no really reference for diapason. Play as you want.
I think the program used by GeruBach to create his videos changes the pitch.
What flute was this? I feel like it was a french traverso. Sounds lower and full, but with a lighter wood sound? I love it.
Thanks for uploading!

exactly, why?

I’m playing the allegro for my solo contest, but I feel like it’s a little hard since I’m in 8th grade but I hope I play it well!

Well, @@ari4nova, he should’ve tuned the instruments a bit lower before conducting! That’s what I’d do!
