    The Adagio is especially good. Such clear and beautiful counterpoint, and the chromaticism adds so much.

    Oh, what is my favorite Bach sonata for violin and keyboard? The solo for harpsichord in the G major.

    Gerubach, can you please make a BWV 598? If you've already made a scrolling sheet for it, I couldn't find it... I found good versions from other channels, but after listening to your Bach interpretations I cannot listen to music without seeing a scrolling sheet with notes : Please

    No 4 is sublime, pity the violonist didn't understand to emphasize the dissonances. They're very important and propel Bach to the celestial level.

    what was the idea of the harpsichord solo when you write a sonata for harpsichord AND violin ? Bach must have done this intentionally of course .. I just wonder why ? ..

    • @martinplaymusic9659
      @martinplaymusic9659 6 лет назад +10

      PetStuBa Even in Mozart 's sonatas for Piano and Violin there's a prominence given to the keyboard section. That's because those sonatas are regarded as keyboard sonatas with violin accompaniment quite different than those composed later by Beethoven.
