Actually, this boat is great for blue water cruising, as is the entire Jeanneau Yachts line.. the JY 51, 54, 57 and 64. The entire Sun Odyssey line is also A rated but, for me, I'd prefer the SO479 or 519. In the end, it is about personal preference in size, space and of course, budget. Full disclosure... Îf you want a Blue water boat you need to look at center cockpit boat . You can use this but it not what it built for that . Like a Discovery 55

There is No tender garage. but as an option can you get tender holders sticking out of the back. :)
