Baxi Potterton cutting out easy boiler FIX

Potterton promax baxi solo ignites and immediately cuts out, then repeats. Do this check first. Safe isolation when dealing with live boilers.

These electrodes can be removed without taking the internal cover off. These cases both have poor seals that go brittle . Also if a seal goes on the internal case the boiler has another overheat stat by the fan that will cut out after a short while. Personally other than the water flow switch I think these boilers are rubbish

Also check burner the adhesive holding the ceramic part of the burner . This can fail causing the burner to seperate .

I have the new condense fitted, i worked for a few day and now it dead with just power on light and no fan running any ideas.

Can you just not connect this wire anymore and what would happen if you run in without connecting the wire again?

I don't advise it as it's for safety, but i have seen these disconnected. You should make sure the condense trap is cleaned and emptying out correctly and that theres no rust on the those wires first
