    Hi,
    (My situation 2 hours ago before your video)
    -My first born child is expected any day, she’s a week overdue.
    - my in-laws are coming over on the 25th for a month to help
    -it’s 10pm on the 23rd off December
    - my heating stopped working today, cutting in but only staying on for 10 minutes before cutting out.
    -a very cold house
    - a stressed cold overdue pregnant wife
    - my stress and anxiety going through the roof as there was no way to get an engineer over the Christmas break and my baby could literally be born any minute.
    (My situation now after your video)
    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
    No stress and can concentrate on Christmas and welcoming our little girl to a safe warm house.
    I would Really like to thank you for taking the time to make that video. As without it I would have no clue what the problem even was or the confidence to attempt to fix it.
    Thank you again and hope you have a lovely Christmas!

    Thanks for your video. I had a small leak from where the condensate pipe connects to the boiler - as it turns out the pipe is a bit too long so entry to the outlet is on a bit of an angle. I just wanted to check the state of the condensate sump while fixing the pipe connection leak to be sure there wasn't any other issues further in the system. On inspection the condition of the sump wasn't bad enough to need removal, but good to know in future. Thanks again.

    Hi what happens if we don’t connect the sensor?

    hi, quick question, did you have to fill the tank with any water before you reinstalled it?

    • @brizoxboy3752
      @brizoxboy3752  4 года назад +1

      No, You should not fill the tank with any water. While the boiler starts working automatically the vapours condense to water drops which starts filling up the tank. Once the tank is filled (bottle) it starts dripping to go out of drain.

      You need to fill the condensate trap with water as emissions can fill room if not sealed correctly. Never used bleach as it's corrosive to plastics. Just use water and shake hard to remove crap. That one is clean any ways.@@brizoxboy3752

    how do you drain the boiler and flush the whole system

    • @brizoxboy3752
      @brizoxboy3752  3 года назад +1

      Please make sure the outlet for the bottle is not clogged due to calcium deposits. I can imagine only in such conditions you can not flush the whole system.

    Just tried this. Before I did I could get my boiler to fire up for about 2 mins and then it would cut out. Had a flashing red light and two solid green lights. Tried this fix and it seemed to work - boiler fireup straight away and then went off again. Fire up a couple more times on its own and then stopped this time with a solid red light and two flashing green ones - any idea what to try now?

    Coz the moment I reconnect boiler goes off

    • @brizoxboy3752
      @brizoxboy3752  9 месяцев назад

      If you don’t connect the sensor, system will not be able to detect the moisture,which could flood the system and can cause major damage to your boiler. As you said, your boiler goes off as soon as you connect means there is still some moisture. Please clean up any moisture and may be if possible leave the boiler open without connecting to sensor over night to dry out all the moisture then try again.
      **Disclaimer: These are my suggestions only on my own experience, which may not be applicable to you. Please take due care while working.

    hi thanks for your video is this a difficult job

    • @brizoxboy3752
      @brizoxboy3752  3 года назад +2

      from the time you open the first screw, you should remember each and every part where it should go back again, then it is not a tough job. Any part is not fixed in its place can make your boiler useless completely.

      @@trevorgood6511 I suspect, the collection bottle is either have limescale deposit clogs or the pipe to which it is connected is jammed due to some deposits. I faced this as well, and for which, I changed the outlet pipe. check both the channels, please.

      Not difficult. I took pictures at each stage. Honestly the video is exactly how it is. Only 3 screws and one wire to disconnect. The plastic connectors where tight to get off, but I got them in the end.
