my usual tactic in this kind of challenge is to abuse the limits of the ai: shooting over hills undetected, or baiting shots with one vehicle shielded by a carcass so another further away can snipe comfortably. it’s workable especially when you have time to set up (fields and taiga for instance, where you decide when the battles really start). not so much when time is of the essence like with defense, where number and reactivity matter. you’ll also want to favour a small silhouette (usually the casemate style) so dead tanks become easy to hide behind, even after an ammo detonation.
Waffle, there is no amount of armour you can put on a WWI tank to defeat late WWII anti tank gunnery without that tank just turning into a completely stationary bunker. The best thing you can do to survive is shoot them before they shoot you, with just enough armour to stop the lightest tank from front penning you. Also using your dead allies as cover like you did to win crossroads. Something to note: The bot gunners will always be faster and more accurate than any human, which is why modern guns are linked to a fire control system that does all the calculations and the gunner just hits the shoot button. Granted still an important job you do not want to give to a bot no matter how advanced. Anyway the off the rails bots are largely the reason for the add more armour until we survive long enough to effectively shoot back meta and that won't change as long as they behave like efficient bots without being fine tuned to have flaws and variability in performance. Do appreciate the pain you went through for the video. My favourite iteration of the tank used here is the Interwar design you made for ambush, it was zanney but still quite well balanced and sane compared to the modifications used to survive the later scenarios.

You are very talented! I couldn't beat them normally!

Exactly

youre rocking it carlson
Who’s Carlson?
You’re talking about *THAT* Carlson?
Awesome vid!
Thank you!
Congrat on overcoming an absurd challenge lol. It’s insane how much you could do with only ww1 tech and Applique plate (if it works 😂)
Yeah, finding that bug was a bit unfortunate lol
Good video, good job
Thanks
29:36 how Russian guns feel in warthunder
Good show but you miss one challenge that is defense
For time purposes, I skipped on Dunes and Defence.
Hey Colson
