Really good book, tho it feels Capote wandered off on too many tangents. By the back half I was skipping the pointless rambly chapters that had nothing to do with the main story.
Wizard and Glass is my favorite Dark Tower book. It's perfect. It's King at his best. You don't need to be surprised by an ending, you only need to dread the inevitable.
Nick i love your videos so much, you are such a joy to watch!!! And boy that was one creepy book cover(the excorcist)🦇🦇🦇🕸🫖☕🥧🍵🎃🕯📚📓🖋Looking forward cozy season with all its books waiting to be read... Sending you and your family warm hugs all the way from Sweden
Can’t wait for you to read “Bird Box,” I really enjoyed it. I still haven’t watched the Netflix series or read the second book in the series but this book can stand on its own.
I’m so glad you read Night by Elie Wiesel. I agree everyone should read it. Both my daughter and I read it. East of Eden is my favorite Steinbeck!!! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! In Cold Blood is also a must read!!
I really love the variety of books you go over on your channel, it's a bit of a heavy read but I'd suggest trying "One Step Away" by James Gabrian, insane book.
You always hear of books that will change your life. East of Eden will truly make you never see our existence in the same way again. And its a gripping story! Enjoy
The Jaunt! I’ve thought of that story every time I go to the airport. But i read it so long ago I couldn’t remember the name. That and The Long Walk have stayed with me the longest.
You are the Columbo (1970’s/80’s tv detective series starring Peter Falk. It was great!) of Booktube. The famous catchphrase is, “Just one more thing…).
I thought drawing of the three would definitely be my favorite dark tower book, and then books 3, 4, and 5 got progressively better for me. It's crazy how long that series is, and I wish it were longer.
Your Exorcist story has inspired me to recommend a horror movie. The Exorcism of Emily Rose. There is a moment that is nearly identical to your anecdote. But this one truly will chill your blood. I sometimes see it in my thoughts unprovoked and I haven’t seen the film in a decade.
Try listening to the audiobook of Circe!! So much easier to get into, the narrator was lovely and made it easier for me to connect with the protagonist
Just picked up a secondhand copy of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Very excited to read it. I imagine it’s more ‘real’ than the movie, even though there’s serious subjects/moments in the film too. But it will have to wait until I’ve worked my way through the 8 books already sitting on my coffee table. (Unless I, on a whim, decide to skip to queue and read it first! 🤔😁)
I'm reading all SK in order of publication and just got to The Wastelands (Dark Tower 3). I thoroughly enjoyed The Drawing of the Three, so I'm looking forward to it! 1980's King was legendary, and 1990's King is off to a great start; can't wait to get to Wizard and Glass, but I'm about a dozen books away from that one 😛
I love the movie Breakfast At Tiffanys but haven’t read the book. I didn’t know it was written from the main male character’s perspective, makes me more interested in reading. 😂 omg The Exorcist cover is terrifying!
If you're ever in the market for a heavy hitter real life story that will change your life it's Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl. Beautiful, enlightening, difficult. A must read for any human I think. A treat to listen as always!
I know most people prefer the book since it has a lot more than the stripped down movie version, but I personally prefer the movie of Breakfast at Tiffany's a lot more. As far as books go, the book for me is ok - for whatever reason I was bored more than anything - but the movie (which I saw first) I find much more charming.
I recently bought Skeleton Crew and just finished reading The Mist. It was the first thing I’ve ever read by Stephen King. I’m not sure whether to read the rest of the book or go on to something like Pet Sematary or The Shining?
the birdbox cover art is really awesome but wow that exorcist cover is truly something haha one of the most creepy awesome covers that i have seen is the original cover of Bad Brains by Kathe Koja. its wild
In Cold Blood is a good book but has haunted me since I finished it. I don’t think it helped when I looked up pictures of the crime scene. Don’t do it. It makes the story even more chilling.
Hey there! I’m reading a collection of short stories that are completely amazing, surreal, and bizarre: Beautiful Days by Zach Williams. It’s just come out and has received amazing reviews as well. PS - Capote writes very good short stories. “Miriam” is very disturbing!
I can't believe the ebook Magnetic Aura isn't a hot topic. It's an incredible read
I love what you do so much. Your videos are a highlight of my week. I mean it. I hope you never stop.
Sheesh! Thanks so much!
In Cold Blood is a phenomenal book, I read it for a class in high school and have been wanting to reread it lately. I think you will really dig it

You should read Billy Summers (yes I will continue suggesting it even if I have to keep doing it until 2028)
Can’t wait for you to read “Bird Box,” I really enjoyed it. I still haven’t watched the Netflix series or read the second book in the series but this book can stand on its own.
Will be joining in with East of Eden. I just found my copy yestersay at the thrift store 😊
Hey there! Hope you'll dive in the work of Paul Auster (RIP) soon. I'm pretty sure you'll love it!
lol your wife’s pick…I’m a woman and I have a really hard time with romances…thanks for sharing your week with us!
me too 😅😅 they just don’t click for me and are soo cringe. but i know I’m in the minority! haha
Let’s go! Starting back school hopefully going to continue reading! Love the content man!
I’m so glad you read Night by Elie Wiesel. I agree everyone should read it. Both my daughter and I read it. East of Eden is my favorite Steinbeck!!! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts! In Cold Blood is also a must read!!

I really enjoyed Breakfast at Tiffany. A real slice of life book.
You always hear of books that will change your life. East of Eden will truly make you never see our existence in the same way again. And its a gripping story! Enjoy
oooh, now I'm intrigued!
Always love listening to you! Love the shirt! Where was the trip east? Sounds like a family trip?
The Jaunt! I’ve thought of that story every time I go to the airport. But i read it so long ago I couldn’t remember the name. That and The Long Walk have stayed with me the longest.
Yes! The long walk has stayed with me. Please read it, Nick!!!
Yesss!!! So glad you decided to change your mind on East of Eden. I am one of those people who say it’s my favorite book of all time😅 Masterpiece
I just read Night today! Wow wow. What a devastating story!!!
You are the Columbo (1970’s/80’s tv detective series starring Peter Falk. It was great!) of Booktube. The famous catchphrase is, “Just one more thing…).
Check out A Clockwork Orange. I think it’s right up your alley.
Yes!
My favorite Dark Tower book is Wolves of the Calla, so good!
Yes! I just finished East of Eden two days ago, it's incredible. Enjoy! Can't wait to hear your thoughts.
I thought drawing of the three would definitely be my favorite dark tower book, and then books 3, 4, and 5 got progressively better for me. It's crazy how long that series is, and I wish it were longer.
it's crazy how nobody is talking about the banned ebook Magnetic Aura

I loved Wizard and Glass but I think Wind through the Keyhole was my fave….i just can’t wait for you to get to the end of the ride!
Clive Barker's Books of Blood are always a good read!

I just reread East of Eden and it still holds up from like 20 years ago. Can’t wait to hear what you think! ❤
You will love East Of Eden.
I just picked up the Whisper Man a week or two ago! I'm currently reading All the Light We Cannot See but I plan on getting to it soon
I love the movie Breakfast At Tiffanys but haven’t read the book. I didn’t know it was written from the main male character’s perspective, makes me more interested in reading. 😂 omg The Exorcist cover is terrifying!
For Breakfast At Tiffanys, I liked the movie more than the book.
I was not the biggest fan of Circe either. I only finished it because I had it on audiobook.
My favorite Dark Tower book is Wolves of the Calla, I love the entire series so much

you need to find the banned ebook magnetic aura even if it's the last thing you do in life
Awesome cover on the Exorcist, one detail buggs me tho, the cross should have been upside down 😅
I love poppi sodas! The orange is my fav :)
In Cold Blood is a good book but has haunted me since I finished it. I don’t think it helped when I looked up pictures of the crime scene. Don’t do it. It makes the story even more chilling.

I’m listening to under the dome right now and I’m getting the feeling it’s another king book that could have used a lot of editing things out
Daughters of Sparta is a good book to start your greek mythology journey.
Yes but have you joined The StoryGraph app yet??
Nick, have you read Night Shift by King?
Why don’t you do a photography segment, and record time!
Nick, have you read any of the short stories in Stephen Kings Just after sunset? If so, which one do you recommend?
I love K.A Tucker
Have you read Stephen Kings new collection of short stories? If so what were your favourites?
guys just read magnetic aura from borlest, and you'll never need to watch these videos again
Books.
That exorcist book cover is creepy I must say
You won’t like In Cold Blood I found it slow and boring.
