I actually have this keyboard at my desk. The possibility of pairing several devices make it super practical to change from between my Mac Mini and my MacBook Air. It's pretty good to type on and quite cheap.
The Anker 7-1 USB-C hub/dongle works great with it’s features. HDMI, 100w pass through (only 80 watts but enough), $30! Works great, no issues. If you need Ethernet, go with the 8-1.
A cheap accessory I really like to use is the Zeiss Lens Wipes. Works great on phone screens and the MacBook keyboard since I get a ton of finger grease on the keys really fast.
This is going to sound slightly weird, but for people who want a portable dual monitor setup, get the basic entry level iPad, add a $10 case/stand, and use it with built-in Sidecar support to give you a portable second monitor. Plus, you can use it as an iPad when you want.
I'd highly recommend the Moft laptop stand if you're comfortable with sticking it to the underside of your Macbook. It's honestly a really good laptop stand that you can take on the go.
Would you recommend a wide-angle lens for the Macbook Air 2019? I have to videotape a room with people sitting on chairs and also on the floor. Thanks!
So I've been trying to decide between an iPad (mini) or the air. I write and need something I can take with me on the move and not usually by a table. I like the idea of a mini with a foldable keyboard, mouse and stand. But then It think I mind as well just get a laptop. 13" is bigger then what I'm looking for and the price is considerably more. Now with you saying that I still need all these accessories, lol well damn. I wish they'd bring back the 11" air, that would be perfect... For me anyways.
hey guys, I won an m1 MacBook pro via a scholarship should I keep or sell it? I currently have a surface laptop 3 that has been good to me but the only 'meh' thing is the 7hour battery life. I am in a bit of a dilemma and I am not sure how I would feel jumping ship to Apple. Any suggestions?
Are you already in the Apple ecosystem? If you have an iPhone or any other Apple devices, I’d recommend the MacBook. You won’t regret it. That MBP will have 3 times the battery!
I love the Logitech M510 mouse and it's only $23! It has nice contours and fits a bit bigger hand. I really like the Apple mouse but find it too small for my hand.
I think the keyboard, mouse, and monitor are important accessories because every. single. day. you'll experience your computer connected to these devices with your eyes and hands. I respect the fact that people have budgets and that it's not easy to say "price is no object" across the board. But my guess is that if you have enough money to buy a computer, you probably a) need it and b) you have enough money for important accessories. I guarantee that six months from now you'll forget how much you spent on your accessories. But you won't forget that the monitor colors are off or the resolution is low or the keyboard or mouse sucks. A cheap keyboard is misery. Spend some money - there are plenty of affordable accessories. Don't buy "the cheapest" for these three human interface products.
My Samsung SSD has what I believe are read and write issues where it disconnects on the MacBook Air but works fine on my Mac mini. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Finally plunged head first into the MacBook Air M1 512gb pool (at the expense of my MacBook Pro 2017 with Touch Bar - not gonna miss it). 1) the battery on this laptop is INSANE. I have to work very hard to deplete 10% battery level, 1,5 hours of zooming costs 8% of battery power. Meanwhile my old MacBook Pro is sweating battery power just sitting there doing nothing. 2) it’s dead cold. Not even sliver of heat. Maybe it will get very faint warm but that’s about it. The intel MacBook Pro gets constant fever. 3) instant on is no joke.
Just a tip to potential save you at some point is just spend some extra money getting a portable ssd not a hard drive because they work via a disk that will have a higher chance of failing than a ssd
I am a Preschool Teacher and will soon be back at College to study Psychology. I need a Mac to plan my lessons, use PowerPoint for the parents meetings throughout the year, write the school blog twice a week(with at least 20/30 pictures of our activities uploaded each time) and of course srudy Psychology online. Can i buy the base 8/256 model or should upgrade? Thanks to anyone who can help me.
Honestly I’d recommend the Logitech K380 keyboard because it can connect to different devices at the push of a button. Also it matches the pebble.

I love these accessory videos! I appreciate how you choose accessories that can be used on multiple devices

The dongle I got from an earlier video has been a game changer. It’s made life a lot easier, so has a lot of these accessories.
What's the name of the dongle?
Name?
USB C Hub 7 in1 UPGROW MacBook Pro Adapter USB C Dongle
@@JEKRed4 and its still going strong with no problems?
@@guzel2812 Yes, full year of constant use with no issues. I do have some smaller ones as back up just in case though.
I bought a anker dongle which seems to work great.
Great video. Lot’s of useful ideas.
i built my own macbook stand out of old wood. Cost me $5. I think that I have a video of it on here somewhere. That iPad stand is a great idea though.
Would you recommend a wide-angle lens for the Macbook Air 2019? I have to videotape a room with people sitting on chairs and also on the floor. Thanks!
Damn, this mic even picks up the table taps when you put your things down!

The best cheap MacBook Air accessories.
Me: I have a Acer laptop with an apple sticker on it.
I like the colorful Thumbnails!! Keep it up 🙌
Please address the image persistance issue of the new macbook air m1. I am victim of this on the 2nd day of buying the new macbook air M1.
My Samsung SSD has what I believe are read and write issues where it disconnects on the MacBook Air but works fine on my Mac mini. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
That's a shotgun mic. Might as well move it above and out of frame.
In my case: I love the Apple trackpad, external keyboard, external hard drive. Take it with me ever time I know I’m going to use MacBook
You reccomend a antivirus program on a macbook air M1? Im scared that my macbook is gonna be slow then.
Nice job, thanks
Personally, I would go with a G304 for the mouse or Model O, but that's just me

I’m definitely trading in my MacBook Air M1 when the new one is out. It’s all about the ports!
Das true final don’t need dongles anymore
CN you make video about final cut pro app please ,?
Please review a CharjenPro Dongle. The specs are bonkers. I really want to how good it is!
Specs on a dongle are bonkers? Lol its a dongle dude
I have purchased a MacBook air m1 base model and I get thin horizontal lines only when watching videos? Can you please help me?
For a mouse, do you recommend the Logitech m350 or i345? Thanks.
M350
So I guess that I should get a macbook ☺

Well Apple makes its own dongle its a Belkin use that

Ye, this is plenty enough for your use.
That mic is very long 😜 lol also like the laptop stand . Rest..razer blade can't do
I never been able to open my MBA M1 using 1 finger without the base lifted
my man really loves his pebble mouse haha
Where is your blue logitech pebel?
Outstanding
Just got one :D
That first stand wont hold, way too risky
Hey would like the mic placement to be changed or be put on a stand as the mic pics up every tap on the table
Previous Mic was better 😭 This one is too sensitive
Don’t know where my comment went. Trade-in my current one for the new one coming out! Again, the ports makes the difference
What's up everyone I'm South African
You used the word singular wrong
Ok, I need to ask. How many times will you repeat the same topics? Literally the same topics. You can do Mac iPad iPhone apps for a change.
I think i am the first to view this video.
hi
Why is it cheap?
Hey bro ( i dont want to sound rude)
But the content is getting repetitive…….
sure let me just get out my 3D printer so I save money by printing out a cheap laptop stand. 😑
You reviews always tend to go in the direction of recommending Apple products…..
or just buy an i Mac
Yooo
So what you are trying to say is...get a PC
