  • DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is a molecule that is often called the blueprint of life. Located in the nucleus, the DNA is a very long molecule with a helix winding structure like a twisted ladder. The rungs of the ladder are made of four different chemicals that pair with each other - A with T, C with G. The sequence of these chemicals is how the information is stored in DNA. Certain proteins read this "code" (ATCGCG) to create proteins. These proteins go on to form cells, cells form tissues which go on to form organs and all the organs come together to form a living being.

    Right before very end is correct but then at 4:20 NO.
    DNA is a storing mechanism for information but that it contains only three types of instructions:
    Assembly instructions for how to make proteins.
    Control instructions for when to make certain proteins.
    Instructions for how to transfer and combine proteins.
    DNA contains NO OTHER instructions. In other words, the function of DNA is to allow the cell to construct proteins, which might be seen as the building blocks of the cells. DNA has no other function.
    This fact can be found in any biology textbook, yet the popular perception of DNA is that it contains all of the information needed to construct a biological “mechanism” as complex as a human being. In other words, most people have been indoctrinated to believe that every aspect of their beings - including their personality and even their spiritual faculties - is stored in their DNA.

    your video is amazing, except for 1 thing.. why do scientist MUST ignore their own brain telling them "this is designed" and MUST think it was evolved as one theory says

    • @lidbass
      @lidbass 2 года назад +1

      Because we have proof that living things have changed (and are still changing) over time. Evolution is real; we knew it was even before the discovery of DNA. DNA (specifically genes) just helps us to explain how evolution works.

      @luisfernandogonzalezherrer7752 2 года назад +1

      @@lidbass Not true, even the best arguments and shots to prove evolution, fail and need a lot of assumptions. you are just too inside of the box to open up to other views

    • @luisfernandogonzalezherrer7752
      @luisfernandogonzalezherrer7752 2 года назад

      Yes living things have changed, but never from one species to another, only adapted. from this, to "evolution of species" there is a whole world of missing information

    • @luisfernandogonzalezherrer7752

      I see the video was edited and they cut that part ! lol

    • @lidbass
      @lidbass 2 года назад

      @@luisfernandogonzalezherrer7752 I'm sorry that you can't understand evolution. I know it is a rather difficult concept to get your head around. Keep trying! There is a lot of information on the internet, much of it easily explained.If you can accept that living things have changed, then you are already half way there way. Good luck.
      No, the video wasn't 'edited' at that part; the video deals with how DNA works. To get from the chemical actions of DNA to the real world effects of evolution would be too great a step for this video. If you've followed this channel, you should know that they try to deal with one topic at a a time.

    The video is just spoken and uses too many chemical terms which are not written. If written, so for 2 seconds, just for nothing, this video is only from scientists to chemistry studying scientist, but not for normals, who want to inform themselfs, so it is a joke? in a world of clownes? But nothing to laugh.
