    I think with you keeping regular updates, you're going to have buildings that sometimes aren't the most complete. However, you failed to mention that it was the custom painted hieroglyphics that didn't make it that ate up your time and probably a lot of your inspiration. The parts where you clearly had a vision were excellent as always.

      Yeah my first batch was pretty much a huge waste of time lol 😅 Thanks man!

    Very brave making a desert dome while Wyatt is there.

    Still trying to figure out how he did those elevators. Truly a master of breaking the game

      You joke but I think it might work if there's other stuff on the path; but the problem is probably going to be getting them down again as they go up watching the exhibit lol

    They’re experimenting with a peccary/prairiedog/American porcupine shared exhibit at burgers atm. They’re using sheep fence to keep them apart (which the prairiedogs can crawl underneath to interact with the pigs). The zookeeper told me it was going pretty well last time I visited so maybe we’ll see the 3 living together soon

    • @Iben
      @Iben  Год назад +1

      Oh really? I kinda don't know how to feel about that, because the lack of fencing in that area is what draws me to it; so I'd have to see it first.
      But it's a nice combination exhibit of course :D

      They actually removed the fence already, and the peccaries now have excess to the entire exhibit!

      @@mathijstenklooster5741 Oh nice! Did they do vides on that already? I want to see 👀

      @@Iben nope, they haven't talked about it yet, I personally only know of this because of the news forum on zoochat.

      @@mathijstenklooster5741 Aha! I saw it on ZooChat as well, hopefully they send in one of those ranger reporters soon so we can get a look, Burgers unfortunately isn't close by for me 🙈

    Well done, Iben!
    Incase you didn't see a comment/question for you on one of Goron's episodes, I have a German friend watching the Koali series and she wanted to know what you all meant by a "weenie" when you're discussing sightlines. I *think* I know what the general idea is, but I didn't want to tell her incorrectly. Do you mind defining it for me so I can tell her? :)

    • @Iben
      @Iben  4 дня назад +1

      I didn't hahaha
      A "weenie" is a theme park term coined by Disney referring to something that draws people to the next area. Something that you see in the distance and makes you go "omg, I want to go there".

      @@Iben Thank you! That's what I thought, although I explained it a little differently and tried to rationalize the name by drawing parallels to an anatomical feature on half the population that also draws the eye. Hahaha Your definition is much more politically correct. lol Thanks again!
