The apple carplay disconnects constantly. One of the cars safety features is AEB but when an object is infront (not the side) of the car, the car does not beep nor does it brake. The car is said to have front and rear parking sensors but when one parks and there is a wall or a car infront it won’t beep nor will it tell you how far you are. FCW also does not warn you. All reviewers review the obvious things about the vehicle but no one looks at the spec brochure Vs what the car can do. Chery also doesn’t have enough knowledge on the vehicle for instance the car has 4 front sensors but two are disconnected. They were not aware of this infact alot of people are not aware of this. They also said the AEB to work need’s adaptive cruise control which is not the case. Infact when the ACC is on and brakes are applied it is cancelled. I have an elegance which is top spec, atleast I thought but when i put them to the test, it is not the case. False advertising all the way.

@@Leigh-y8q brake failures, censor failure, aircond failure, and there is a lot more, just type Omoda 5 issues and there is plenty of it, avoid this car at all cost
This car have so many problems in Malaysia, owners get their repair several times and still unable to fix it, recently a girl get her car to fix for 7th times, and just after leaving the service center, the car brake failed and almost kill her.
You are exaggerating. I understand that car was tested by independent party on the safety features and they found nothing wrong. To be fair, there bound to be one or two bad apples even with Mercedes Benz and Malaysia second national car Produa and Honda. Why was this not commented?
@@cfyong1838 one or two bad apples? Have you seen all the serious issues in their owner group? It’s not viral doesn’t means there is no issues, the list of issues for this car is insane for the units sold
