Power train, features, materials used are pretty impressive and competing against the Germans..
Cherry (and Jaecoo) already half way in their battle. They have proved that they can make cars that not only looks better but also with more features yet cheaper, now just another half of the battle; to prove that they CAN provide a reliable after service experience to the customer. If they can do this for thr next 5-10 years, 👍

Chinese cars are pretty decent these day, but sometime they really don’t know what they want to achieve in term of branding. Figure out your naming conversion before you call yourself premium.

Omoda C9 is not Jaecoo. Omoda is a separate brand in itself. When Omoda 5 arrived in Malaysia, the brand Omoda is still new so they havent established their operation yet. They put it under Chery just to penetrate Malaysian market. Omoda 5 in other countries is not Chery.
Chery afraid if sell under chery, no one will buy😁, so they sell under jaecoo.

I know that Chery targeted this car to fight in the premium market but if they sell the C9 in Indonesia with that price, it will be at the same price bracket with Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, that is a death sentence for a chinese car here. No matter how luxurious, advance, comfortable, and powerful your product is, you don't fight head to head with those cars.
