I stumbled on the 1919 conference material when I was a student in an Adventist college. I was shocked why the church kept it away from the church. When I read it I realized the church did not want the ordinary folks to know what happened in the conference. I smelled dishonesty.

I don't know exactly how I came across your channel, but I'm glad I did and I'm learning a lot! Maybe more than I wanted, lol. I grew up in a Christian home and my (very small) church currently meets at an Adventist building (which works out well as you can imagine 😉). I became curious to know more about what they believe, as other than the Sabbath issue and some (or all?) following a vegetarian diet, I was pretty ignorant. It's so hard to see the enemy twist the Gospel into distortion that creates confusion and causes people to lose sight of Christ and His grace. Any denomination is capable of it, and we all need to stay vigilant in our faith! Thank you for your work and voice Myles 👏

Non-SDAs need to be mindful that according to orthodox SDA doctrine, the larger Christian church is the target of the SDA "everlasting gospel" (that being the three angels messages Rev14), not unbelievers. I have to acknowledge that probably most SDAs don't subscribe to this idea and that the unbelievers do need to be reached. However, as an ex-SDA, I was always hammered with the three angels "everlasting gospel" and NOT the one and only true gospel of Jesus Christ as depicted in 1Cor15.
Precisely-and what’s frustrating is the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14 IS the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15. Revelation 14 isn’t describing what the SDA church claims. Which is why they think it’s a unique, “present truth” gospel.

This is from an email responding to Edwin Cotto who emailed us in August 2023 referencing to December 2022.

I don't know what you and Chris discussed. What I do know is on December 12, 2022 I sent you an email that included the following:
"After seeing how much of a coward you are when you think people aren't watching, I have zero interest in debating you. You can't say things to people's face that you actually believe, but will when you think they aren't watching. Be a man. Stop being a coward."
To which, part of your reply included:
"Next time don't invite me to debate and then bail out because you don't like my 'attitude.'"
I'm not sure why you think this has changed...? You also claimed that I couldn't be trusted to be a respectful interlocutor and your "precious time" was too valuable. But then when Answering Adventism starts to grow, you demanded in the comments that I debate you. Now here you are again. You are more than welcome to show up to an open stream to discuss the sabbath simply because I won't bar you. But outside of that, I have zero interest in debating you.
The irony of your reply is that you initially didn't want to debate me because of my "attitude" with Keith ("emotional," can't be trusted to be a respectful interlocutor, etc.).
So you have known this was my reasoning for almost a year now yet you continue to run your mouth to your echo chamber trying to make it seem like I'm afraid to debate you. As if it isn't on principle having told you 9 months ago why (you're pretentious, disingenuous, rude, etc.). No one is scared of you, my man. But I get it, it makes you feel good to your base that calls you, so do your thing.
You have lied about me publicly numerous times (of which I have the receipts). You have openly stated that you want to see, not just my ideology destroyed, but me personally. When you have made it clear that your purpose and mission is one rooted in hate, seeing people destroyed, etc. the decision to dust my feet off from you almost a year ago has proven to be the right decision.
We are praying for you all. And Happy Lord's Day! It was an excellent time of covenant renewal today, feasting on Christ, His benefits, and His Word. Hopefully one day you'll become a Christian and join us! That's the prayer anyway.”
We purposely ignore them. They are not serious representatives of Adventism. We aren’t wasting time playing games like that and they simply want to try and get pats on the back, not see people come to (what they believe to be) the truth.
We dusted our feet off from them over a year and a half ago at this point and on principle will continue ignoring them. Engaging them lowers this platforms credibility.
Edwin and Jason both had opportunities, they turned it down. Answering Adventism starts to grow and then they demand I go on their silly channel and engage them. Yeah, no, that’s not how this works. I initially offered, they didn’t want to. I moved along and because the platform grew, now they demand I answer to their beck and call. Nope. Kick rocks, goobers.
Your speech pattern is very irritating!
Then don’t listen, easy solution. Comments like yours are irritating yet we still let you.
