I have had my 2020 80RB for 17 months and have spent 53 days in it and it's been a great camper. I have spent as many as 9 days at one time at "The King Of Hammers" in Johnson Valley CA. where it was 20 degrees with 40 mph winds and it was no problem, only the back door was radiating some cold. The black tank was only used for eighteen #2's in that 9 days and was just about full. PJ missed that the drawers are soft close which means they pull themselves close and they stay closed on rough roads, the top cabinet door will open on rough roads so I just use a cutting board stood up inside and it holds everything inside. My camper is equipped with all the options seen with the camper in this video and with those options, the 80RB camper weight is just a little over 2000 pounds
I built a drawer that is removable that fits in the space behind the sink. I also cut two openings in the platform under the table top pipe and fashioned the removed pieces to be removable covers. A lot of wasted empty space recovered. I built a removable hitch mounted platform to hold a generator and 6 gallon Tote.for waste water transport since the WW tanks are very small.

where is a plug in for the coffee pot near the kitchen counter? also like the fact that we can set this in our 8 bed of the dually and still close the gate....
I didn't know about this so this was a great walkthrough. My former dream TC was the HS750/1801 but now it's probably a tie with this, however there are a few pieces of information you didn't mention that I have questions about. -Do you need a lighter for the stove or can it be lit automatically using the batteries? -You mentioned the water heater uses a tank instead of being instant. Some tanked water heaters on RV's can use 110 volt in order to heat water instead of propane. Is that an option on this or is it propane-only? -Is there an option for a passthrough window to the Truck? -Are there options for dually brackets? I know they aren't too useful on something this size but I want to ensure as much compatibility as possible. -Are there cable/satellite connections?
This is a super job of an RV walk through. My only question is how accessible things would be with the slide room in. Really enjoyed this very professional walk-through!
@@davidelo5843 I think I may have posted this comment on the wrong video. Sheesh - that's what happens when the boss lets me loose unsupervised with the confuser.
I’m a little curious about the swing-a-way handle at the door. It looks to me like a prankster could come along and lock you in the camper? If it’s folded against the door and you are inside can you still get out?
We've definitely heard this before... but we've never actually heard of it happening. If it did, the emergency egress window could be used to exit the camper.
Nobody mentions the feature that made me buy this camper over Lance and Palomino. It doesn’t have a full back on it. I don’t have to remove my tailgate. This feature makes loading and unloading way easier, and when I drop the camper at an RV park and go exploring, I have a complete truck.
I have had many slide in campers over the past 25 years. This unit looks nice but seems a bit pricey for what you get. Yes its much cheaper than a Lance or Bigfoot , etc. but I have found the best bang for my buck was the Palomino Maverick by Forest River.
@@PrincessCraft , wow! Thank you!: That is major information download. Hopefully that will answer the same question for a lot of folks looking for such a great camper.
Unfortunately, that isn't an option from the manufacturer of this camper. We've certainly seen some very resourceful and creative DIY modifications in campers as owners have found ways to make them their own.
It’s something to be aware of. Keep the battery charged in the co2 detector, and if you need venting in cold weather, better to open a roof vent or window on the opposite side!
Can you recommend any truck campers that come equipped with truck bed tie downs already installed on the camper I really like the citrus 620 just not sure about not having an internal shower and the price is kind of high as well, as always thank you ! And can you do a video as soon as cirrus 620 2022 come out please also I own a ram 1500 4x4
The only truck campers we currently carry that have the ratchet tie-down system is the Cirrus from nuCamp. We've heard of them being used elsewhere, but we haven't seen it on other brands we carry at our dealership. As soon as we get a new 2022 on our lot, we'll try to get a video shot for you!
The manufacturer does not offer lithium batteries, but your dealership should be able to find a battery setup, even lithium-ion, that will work for you.
I don't believe it's the same manufacturer. As far as I'm aware, Adventure Manufacturing produces Adventurer truck campers, Eagle Cap truck campers, Scout truck campers, and Overlander class C RVs.
Both are fantastic and capable! If you're just entering the truck camper market to see if you like it, the Adventurer is a great place to start. It can get you to destinations all over for years and you can see if the lifestyle is for you. If you're all in for truck camping and that style of camping, the nuCamp is an incredible build and style. So, you can't go wrong if you get a chance to get in both of them to see which one feels best to you!
You can modify your camper to fit your needs like I did Remove the toilet for a portable toilet one with double base and transform your back tank for a gray one. Double your gray and easy to dump black portable
@@d12aurora true, but it is just dumb for a manufacturer to include tanks that are virtually useless just to ‘massage’ the weight of the unit down. And nobody wants to buy something that needs modifying so soon.

Nice camper overall, but I'm disappointed with the tank capacities.
I think this lovely lady could sell snow to the Eskimos, in a pleasant non-pushy sort of way

Why can't you make this in a pull-behind model? It is a little pricey for an average camper.
That's a fair question for the manufacturer!
The tank sizes are pretty useless on that one. Other than that, it doesn’t look bad for the money.
Exactly. What is the point of a 6 gallon black tank. Should have just been a cassette toilet that holds 5 gallons.
