I need your help Lord, I keep making the same mistakes, being with people I should not be, addictions, cursing, lying, cheating, I do not know why I keep doing all these stupid things. Please have Mercy on me Lord, please do not give up on me. I am ashamed, I keep missing church, 5 weeks now. Help me Lord. I need you.
Oh friend! Turn your eyes upon Yeshua! See that He has paid the wages of your death due for sins! Believe in Him. His righteousness accomplished salvation for us all who repent from thinking anything we do deserves heaven. We come to the end of ourselves and CALL ON HIS NAME in good confession! YESHUA IS LORD! God raised Him from dead to show He has secured the victory of life because He is life! Death could not defeat Him. It's not about us anymore. He sets us free! His Spirit comes not in our sorrow for sin but by His power! THE gospel is God's power to save THANK GOD you are broken for your sin! Now He can heal you! By His wounds we are healed. See His power to overcome what we never could!
Oh this made me so emotional 😭. My hubs and I are both children of divorce due to adultery. Hubs is also 6+ years sober. God is SO FAITHFUL. Learning to give God your shame is powerful. Thank you Jeff!!! ❤️
My son is in the second strike group. The Eisenhower has been in the Red Sea for months. He is my oldest and my only son. Pray for their morale. They will be there for a good while.

Jeff goes to this Christian concert center every year in Green Bay called “Cup O Joy”. Though I haven’t had the opportunity to get up there and see him yet, I can’t tell you how much this interview means to me. His testimony is incredible! Praise The Lord for His goodness and mercy in Jeff’s life. ❤❤❤
That was a beautiful testimony! I first heard about him way back in the day on Bananas (that was the hub for Christian comedians in the early 2000s). I had no idea about his journey to Christ. Praise God for obedient Christians who plant seeds in seemingly unredeemable people, where would any of us be without them!
This was a bit different pace than Allie’s usual interviews, but I loved his rambling testimony. :) I’ve listened to his comedy for years but didn’t know a lot of what he shared here. At the end, all I could think of was one of my favorite verses, “for His mercy endureth forever.”
I love this amazing picture of how God redeems our awful mistakes into beautiful picture of His mercy, and love for us. He can use the worst parts of us for His good. We have an awesome and wonderful God.

Before we moved, we used to attend Denton Bible Church with Pastor Tom Nelson.. very cool to hear that God used his sermons to reach Jeff. My husband still listens to Tommy even though he doesn’t regularly attend church with me these days. Tommy must have a gift from God for reaching out to the “lost” men…

While God surely transformed this man and can surely change anyone, I think it’s important to state for the sake of those listening who might be in the same situation and don’t know what to do, that the behavior he described truly sounds abusive, and that for the sake of his wife’s and foremost the CHILDREN’S safety, she should have left him fairly permanently- MAYBE only coming back together once he proved himself safe for a LONGGG time. Maybe. God did not need them to “stick out” a dangerous marriage for God to have moved in the lives. God very well May have saved him SOONER if his wife divorced him for abuse- causing him to hit rock bottom, and having him face thorough consequences- just like church discipline is meant to push us to repentance. These types of stories are the exception, not the rule, for how these types of situations pan out, esp with no consequences. People hear these stories and think that they too need to “stick it out” and just *wait for God to move,* risking their and their KIDS’ safety. 😭 PLEASE, if you are reading this and are in a similar situation- leave, and GET SAFE. You don’t have to stick it out. If God wants to save your husband (or wife!) He WILL! You can trust him- He wants you and your children to be SAFE. That said, I am sure Jeff Allen is a wonderful man now- I hope so! God CAN change anyone. Praise God that he saved him and his wife. But God can change a man without risking the safety of you and your children. So please get safe FIRST.
