What I like about Jeff is he doesn't try to be someone else when he sings these covers. He is simply himself. I really like when he filled in for Journey.

They could have done some really cool new and exciting things with Jeff… especially with Deen in the band too. Neal just wanted to ride the classic Journey stuff at the time I guess. Soto sounds great everything he’s done since. The SOA stuff is absolutely amazing.
Cant stop watching this, it has to be the greatest live queen set ever, why the hell dont brian may and roger taylor tour with this guy on vocals!!! I mean Adam freakin Lambert..seriously??????

as a pro musician and a huge Queen fan for nearly 40 years i'm so happy to see so many of their older song played live and played so well. This concert and these musicians are simply awesome. Who are the MORONS who gave thumbs down???!!!!!

@@avo010 Extreme was good, but it wasn't a full set though, and this one had some real hidden gems. It's Late, Spread Your Wings, Dragon Attack, Ogre Battle... the whole set I kept going "no way!" as they started another deep cut.
Then you've never experienced the Queen Extravaganza tour with Marc Martel!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I don't know what just happened, but all I can say is "WOW!" What a performer and what a performance! Without his voice sounding anything like Freddie's, the rendition of all Queen songs is impeccable and very pleasing to the ear. Great job! I am a fan for life.

AMAZING. Jeff Scott Soto is simply amazing. One of the best singers of the last 30 years. I'd love to see him fronting Queen. I really don't understand why Brian and Roger don't get him instead of "that kid from some talent show".

I really like these guys! They did a great job of capturing the spirit of the songs! You can tell that they truly love Queen and put a lot of hours into perfecting their performance. After all, Queen was all about perfection 100% of the time! This is one show I would gladly pay to attend! Thank you, guys!

Jeff hizo en este recital un trabajo mucho mejor que cualquiera de todos los grandes vocalistas que homenajearon a Freddie a lo largo del tiempo, no solo se adapta a su timbre vocal, sino que conoce - por ser fan - cada inflexion de su voz, cada grito o palabra que solía introducir en vivo. Imagine that, lead for Journey AND Queen. JSS is one of my faves for sure.
I will be honest, in today's society. well...I will use an analogy.....it's kind of like the NBA now, which is SO blatantly racist and biased to the peak of 95/5% blacks to white which would not be tolerated in other sports - even blacks complain about hockey (blacks are not "just" better at basketball, but we WANT to believe they are which is so racist in itself, that we believe the poor inner city kid is some magical creature and whites CAN'T be as good) blacks are okay with it because we are not REALLY about "civil rights" we're about as humans getting ahead, getting something someone else has that we want, and the NBA gives them an edge so they shut up and don't look back. I see this a little like that.
We WANT that flamboyance, talent be damned. If the new queenie Lambert WASN'T flamboyantly gay and "soft spoken" and held up as a hero by the gay community, he'd likely be rushed out of the band - though he is also very talented and I am not downplaying his inherent talent.
JSS, of who I am just a fan, not hero worship, never quite finds his niche. He doesn't "fit" any where perfect. I did see him with YNGWIE in '86 at the Long Beach Arena and INCREDIBLE. Just incredible. If he had a "stich" he'd likely be bigger than life. Instead he's just a talented rocker.
