I’m thankful for whoever recorded this I remember the times I had I’m glad I was part of the last generation to experience this born in 1985 definitely grew up in the last greatest generations I remember going to the arcades so much fun memories back in the day
Brings back memories that mum giving her son more money to play lol i remember mine doing exactly the same with Street fighter 2 she had to literally pull me away from those machines, now I'm doing the same with my daughter though the arcades are no where near as good as the good old days but she loves them.
i cought the end of the arcade era in the early 90s. i didnt get to experience this but pizza parlors had some arcades in the back room. i wish i could have though.
Always hitting up mom for more quarters lol. She hands out only 1 each that lasts 30 seconds at most. I saw MJ moonwalker and x-men. I could hear street fighter in the background. The coolest part was all the noises never got anoying. I definatly miss these.
This wasn't in the 80s. I clearly hear Street Fighter 2 sounds in the background. But still, those days has a special feel to them, especially with the gimicky arcade cabinets. I had a lot of bad memories in arcades, too, since there were a lot of creeps hanging out there as well.
The arcade I used to go to back in the late 80's - early 90's was so dark inside you had to watch where you walked, about the only light was the glow from the screens, I guess they did that so there wouldn't be glare on the screens? But anyways you'd see these shady dudes in the back of the arcade from time to time in leather jackets with mullets and ripped jeans ("the hoods" if anybody remembers that slang 80's term) and you knew they were selling weed lol....
Whoa, whoa, whoa that first arcade was not from 1989. At the end of the first arcade you can clearly hear Ryu and or Ken throw multiple fireballs. Now, before anyone says that could be the first Street Fighter...impossible. While you can throw fireballs in the first game not at that rate and it sounded different.
Pretty cool, but some of it's 90's and I'd argue that even 89 doesn't really qualify as 80's arcade days. After al that was 6 years after the crash and the 2nd wave.
If you made this video in the 80’s it would be worth watching but the arcades no longer rule the world of video games so I’ll never be interested in going to the arcade anymore xbox PlayStation PC rule the world of video games now
I see nothing cool about the 80’s the arcade machines were better then the games on consoles if you were to buy an arcade game it would cost $3,000 just for one game the 80’s had the worst consoles talk about the 2000’s when original Xbox Dreamcast PS2 were here that were great as the arcade I own arcade machines cause of the failure of consoles
in the 90's sir just saw street fighter 2

I wish I was born around this time, I was born in the early to mid 2000s
Damn - a decade of memories in less than 2 minutes. That's, like, how long I lasted on Dragon's Lair.

Why did you have to go and ruin it like that? Smh
@@howardronamald2849 Sorry man, there was also a Moonwalker cabinet. This could not have been before 1990. :)
@@Hotshotter3000 who cares!!! Its still an 80s arcade!!!! What's your problem???
@@howardronamald2849 his problem is the click bait title. its the 90s not 80s
@@howardronamald2849 no kidding. Still a old school arcade.
