Agree! We all care about our planet. We need to remember that we all make choices for a reason. The best thing we can do is educate one another and support the total changes we make for the planet. Focusing on certain things only pushes people to the other side. People don’t realize that microplastics still come out of recycled plastic fibers. People do not know about the super wash process. When we let one another put it together that super wash yarn, acid dyed in another country and shipped is not as environmentally responsible as local wool that is milled locally is the ultimate choice. YES! THIS! I think as we learn more, and as resources open up, it will be easier to make the transition to cleaner and sustainable products. 15 years ago I would not have been able to knit what I knit with the yarn I use now because I had a baby, no yarn budget and there wasn't as much choice- I think we can all do better as circumstances allow. It's just important to make the moves when we can and not ignore the bigger picture and how we fit in! And thank you! I'm sure your knitting is just fine! Good to have you here, Sarah!
