Thanks for your patience. We had some technical issues but we're happy to get this to you guys!! Let us know what you think of this slightly altered format!
Genuine question how hard would it be to show a small graphic on for the disc that each of these guys throw? I would love know what they throw on each kind of shot
An I just add that even with Jeremy being in this feature how awesome he is! He isn’t biased. He is a true lover of the game and the best man for commentating hands down. Love a Big Jerm! Stay healthy brotha!
I really like Paul Ulibarri 's natural voice. He has an easy yet quite quiet style, and it is almost soothing to the ear. He is developing into a seriously good commentator. Thanks, as always, Jomez!
Love the coverage, and I love the extra focus on the players, not just their shots. It gets me invested in how the players are feeling, which adds emotional value to the shots that they throw. Watching McBeth from the side as he putts on 15 (26:33) is much more compelling than just watching his disc hit the cage. I really appreciate the Jomez film crew for constantly honing their filming skills, and I think balancing the focus between the players and their shots is a huge step forward for disc golf coverage!
Paul and Big Jerm are naturals together in the booth! The two did a great job and they will only get better the more they work together. Thanks and great job!
Thank you for these videos! I kinda lost motivation to play disc golf last month after four years of playing. It's been downhill for the most of the summer despite a few new records being set, and I decided it's time for me to quit. A friend of mine picked up the sport a few years ago and he's crazy active in playing, and has greatly surpassed me from when I first started teaching him. Watching these still gives me the interest to at least follow the sport I used to love to play myself.
Koling’s commentary is great, as always. He’s a natural. But I am really digging Paul’s insight as well. Great color commentary on some of these shots and he’s got a voice that’s easy to listen to.
wish i could see the shots from behind the players, not really into the staring at the players throw from the front view. Cant really see disc flight. Thanks for the coverage however
Jomez - love the editing on this one. More footage of our commentators, more player-cam, love the different approach! I especially like seeing the side-view of the player as they throw.
Pro disc golf right now heals my soul. Watching Jerm laughing with McBeast gives me hope for the world somehow. ? on those couple of weird side view tee shots. Better from behind or in front for sure. Go Jomez!!!
Jomez is the best in the business and I rarely have anything negative to say about the coverage. That being said, I don't care for the player facing camera if it means we don't get to see the tee pad view of the drive. I was super bummed to miss the view from the pad on multiple drives including Paul's gorgeous shot on 13 through the Y. I don't know if it was a space issue or just something new but I'm not a fan. Other than that, keep up the good work! Love Jomez Pro!!
Guys they obviously lost footage of behind the players. They’re just asking if this scramble of a video is worth it even though we don’t get to see the shots like we’re use to. Yeah Jomez totally better than nothing, appreciate the commentary all the same.
I loved the different editing - I like seeing the players' faces. Ever think about turning your head when throwing a small gap? Me too! Fun to watch how Paul McB does it.
18 here looks very similar to 16 on Fox Run Meadows at Smugglers Notch, VT. A tight wooded over a hill shot to an open field for a well earned Par or spectacular birdie. It's always a blast to watch Jomez Coverage and see all the pros can do.
@@shapedgolem4804 his wife is a frontline healthcare worker, and they don't have access to childcare with Covid happening. He's staying home to stay safe and take care of his family. He said so on Instagram a little while back.
Paul is leaving so many strokes out there this round. I don't know why on the simple side arm holes he doesn't just throw on like big jerm. He's very good at them and you can face the target the whole time
Enjoyed the additional commentary during hole transitions. It adds a nice bit of color to the round. Shot reactions are fine, but I prefer them as PIP, or even replay if especially demonstrative.
It really is sad that people get so much joy out of being negative. I prefer the typical coverage too, but there’s so much whining in this comments section. I’m glad we’ve got coverage to watch at all. You’d think the pandemic would give people an appreciation for things we usually take for granted, like jomez, but it’s just right back to complaining. Great work guys, appreciate all that you do!
Since we're talking about what vehicles our forehands are comparable to, I have a Yugo, but it had the engine removed and is on cinder blocks in a backyard somewhere.
@Tyler Sigman With the insane amount of distance these players have, an aggressive tee shot is not very necessary. Going aggressive brings in OB on the left and right with the potential for a big score. Even if you are safe after a big drive, you will probably still be laying up on your second shot since the basket has an island green. An excellent layup will still leave you with a tester for an eagle, so you’re probably just getting a birdie, but you had potential to get a 6, a 7 or worse. Or, you could throw a safe hyzer off the tee and get an easy birdie with very low potential for a big score. The risk/reward just doesn’t make sense. By the way, if you’re looking for some new disc golf content, check out my channel!
I love seeing bug jerms forehand on lead card. Him and nate are both super clean. We need a disc golf buddy cop show where nate and jerm take down bad guys with nothing but forehands. 🤣
25:08 - I knew that was coming. It's a stretched-out knee-supported anhyzer backhand reach-around! Unless you have spent a lot of time practicing this shot, it is very hard not to shank it right, due to the lack of a rear-brace, and is the natural outcome of the shot. You think you're going to clear the tree, but your throwing motion turns your body as a result of the arm action, and suddenly you're on board the Shanksville express train, on the way to Bogie City.
Yeah, dude. Gotta really dig in that back foot and commit to releasing at just the right time. Not like regular ... concentra te on getting the release right....!
Editing seems off lately - holding shot way too long on profile of player before and during shot and meanwhile there is no context for where we are and what the player is looking at . Thank you than you thank you for everything...
Thanks for the great coverage as usual Jomez, even with the technical issues! I've been wondering tho... Why is the flyover drone footage always in 480p/potato resolution?
I really don't like commenting negatively since you guys are doing huge things for the sport, but this time I have to. Not showing the full shots on some of the holes (13 and 14 in particular) was really frustrating. We came to watch the golf and not their reactions. Also would like to see the tap outs, maybe in a split screen with the commentators? I think that it would work great!
I forget what does Jermey Kolling use for a putter? I feel that is the __ putter in Nexus plastic a tour series disc for him in 2018 or 2019. I forget the name of the putter made for Jeremy Kolling that is like the Discmania putter he used before but Innova.
Thanks for your patience. We had some technical issues but we're happy to get this to you guys!! Let us know what you think of this slightly altered format!
We are all just happy to have disc golf back!
Love the whole flight view from the catch cam on 10. It’s fun to watch the disc through it’s entire flight
Genuine question how hard would it be to show a small graphic on for the disc that each of these guys throw? I would love know what they throw on each kind of shot
Good to know it wasn’t just my phone lol just glad to have disc golf guys thank y’all for what you do
I don't mind the cut-ins with BigBarri, but I wish we could see all of the puts before it cut away.
I feel like Paul's commentary is getting better every time he does it. I'm enjoying it a lot.
Paul's (bushwhacker) commentary has always been good.
Agreed... Uli's commentary is better than Nates
Pretty sure his excellence has been there from Day 1; it just took you this long to Ketchup.
Seeing Big Jerm out there absolutely killing it makes me so happy
"He has a helicopter. You have a Lamborghini. I have a slug bug." Love Uli commentary, LOL.
Never realized that I needed to see Big Germ, Eagle and Mcbeth until I got it. Love it
First time watching Patrick brown for me, really enjoyed his game as well
An I just add that even with Jeremy being in this feature how awesome he is! He isn’t biased. He is a true lover of the game and the best man for commentating hands down. Love a Big Jerm! Stay healthy brotha!
He's sooo great at hiding his coming shots too. One of my favorite 3 players
That's also because hes got a nasty forehand and has for a while and I've yet to get mechanics on a backhand unless I'm within 150
I definitely love that he play reacts to shots he's already seen.
I think the two of them commentating together are hilarious!! Great job guys!!
Jerm is one I would most want to play with. What a Grom. All stoke, all the time.
I really like Paul Ulibarri

That’s pretty sad actually. Paul Mcbeth finds a way to still love the game. I’m sure you can.
The serotonin wave that washes over me in the morning while I watch the latest Jomez is what I live for. Keep up the great work!
McBeths Buzzz approach on 16 was such an epic shot. Wow 🤩
"Good thing that Creek has butterfingers!". LOL! Good job Ulli!
I really love how much respect Jerm and Uli have for Paul, class acts!
Great tourney so far Jerm! It's great to see that sidearm in action again!
I really like how you're doing more shots of Jerm and Uli talking between holes. You guys are making a lot of great changes with this year's coverage!
Pauls commentary game is great on this one. Also love that jeremy can comment on his own game objectively and its a treat to see him on the lead card!

I bet there was some problem with footage or something. that would also explain the cut out putts.
A side by side view of both could be cool tho
Palkd that would be very interesting.

Hoping someone can educate me--on Hole 16 why does everyone tee off with spike hyzers instead of just a flat throw for max distance?
