i’m not seeing enough people talk about Appetence on osmeomancy warlock. With killing tally and demo, you always have killing tally at max and demo reloads the gun while bypassing the reload that removes killing tally, it’s so good.

Permeability letting you rock triple Stasis or Strand weapons sounds like the apple of my eye. 🍎
Osmosis is one of my absolute favorite perks.....when playing void and wanting volitile rounds exclusively. Opens up an entire arsenal of weapons that can then proc them and some of the weapons become. More powerful than you'd think.
its definitely cool to have more weapons with volatile, but at the same time, you cant deny that a demo (for more constant volatile) + damage perk (tricorn, AJ, frenzy) void weapon will do significantly better, to the point an osmosis gun can feel significantly worse.

Osmosis/Permeability is iffy to me. You'll basically be running a gun with 3 perks instead of 4.
I don't see a reason to use these over any other gun that has perks like reconstruction, rewind rounds, or demo unless your vault is seriously lacking good options.
@Axemania21 it's for _if_ your subclass can compensate for the loss of a perk. On void, it's almost like getting destabilizing rounds and anti-barrier for free. On solar, it let's you refresh buffs. And so on. It can be pretty good if you want a special weapon and a primary that both work with the subclass. But yeah, often times, it's better to have a gun with 4 perks.

The FR and LFR are honestly the highlights of the set. Especially the rapid fire FR frame getting access to Controlled Burst.
The trace i've been waiting for forever! Demo/Headstone is gonna be nasty on stasis with tthe fragment that you get energy for breaking crystals
Agree with both comments, but honestly... I think almost every weapon has something to offer and has potential.

@@danielcolt5542 Yeah the trace is looking juicy! They did a good job with the set. Unfortunately can’t say the same for the Dungeon weapons lol.
Unlocking crafting on both of these weapons will be the icing on the cake. On my fifth focused decoding of the Doomed Petitioner, I got a red bar version. For those who amass (too) many engrams, it should be no problem extracting the five patterns necessary for crafting.
Stasis Hunter with Frostees and a Demo/Killing Tally Appetence paired with Dragon's Breath is an INSANE ad-clear and dps build honestly, especially since DB does increased damage against Stasis-affected targets
For Lethophobia, having access to Disruption break on a bow is pretty nice.. and its literally the only bow to have this. Pairing this with Thorn and Lucky Pants and you got yourself a brutal swap double primary build
Here's your use-case for Slice: Void Hunter builds
You are already dodging a bunch, you are usually using a Void primary ammo weapon, and having access to yet another debuff is awesome. I see myself using the new Shotgun or Fusion Rifle quite a lot once I get them with Slice.
Imagine a Void Hunter Build rocking Radiant Dance Machines and this new Shotty.. Dodge, Turn invisible and trigger slice, shot gun to the face, Dodge to reload and turn invis again, rinse and repeat.

@@failfurbyit's definitely a good thing. This is the type of stuff that actually let's people play the way they want. You need more than perks or abilities alone to do that. Everything has to line up, even if just a little, to be able to have some kind of freedom.

You forgot that killing strand debuffed targets gives you tangles, thats probably going to be the best part of slice. Using the slug with reconstruction or fourth times just makes it a heritage that does 15% less damage
plus with the artifact mod that increases solar weapon dmg on strand debuffed targets (cough dragons breath & Goldie Gun w nighthawk)
The new season pass armor the ornaments honestly looks pretty sick. Might be some of my favorite ornaments in the game right now.
I find slice having utility with Titans specifically when they use their barricade and suspend a champion, that way when they are no longer suspend they won’t be dealing much damage to you after they break out

Good showcase i must say my opinion on the new season weapons is they are rushed and nothing once again different or unique we just get microwaves rebake weapons most seasons?
I can see a Stasis or strand subclass using the pulse with permeability just to run triple stasis or triple strand builds. but I cant see it doing much else

The fusion might be a must have considering the only fusion we have in the kinetic slot thats actually good is riptide.
Also, this should be the first rapid fire to get controlled burst.
nox perennial 4 is really good with envious controlled burst, not sure if you can get it anymore. (Its also strand)

@@mrmommyplays3934 It's stil abailable. lYou can farm it for it in the lost sectors and maybe get it from the gunsmith. They tied different weapons to the lost sectors on certain days.

Finally going to be able to use Sunshot with a stasis trace rifle and stasis build. Can't wait! An apple a day keeps the dragons away

The strand slug shotgun having cascade point is insane for dps. I plan to go for an assault mag, reconstruction/FTTC, and cascade point roll.

I'm really glad that bungie made a weapon set with some strong meta options, but also with some quirkiness. Permeability and Golden Tricorn might be a fun and very unique roll.

Great video. My favourite thing about these weapons is that they reskinned the bow, but not its arrow.
Missed Cascade Point on the shotty; mixed with a div bubble/Tractor cannon, reconstruction, and a swap DPS heavy with any kill beforehand, you’ve got a great close up DPS special weapon

if permeablity works with golden tricorn for stasis and strand, i could see the pulse and any weapon with that combo being very a very strong apple.
We also got a new craftable 900 rpm voltshot smg this season as well it can put so many holes into that apple

I like apple and banana flavored options on my weapons personally but some of these do look pretty fun to use
Permeability + Golden Tricorn is a great combination that neutralizes GT’s main weakness (that is, you have to match the weapon element and your subclass). with Permeability, you can proc GT x2 on any subclass, which is absolutely huge. I’m gonna run Permeability + GT on the Scalar Potential - I never get to use GT because I hate being locked to one subclass to maximize, Permeability is a great perk since you don’t have to waste your melee or grenade charge to change the element.
I just want to put it out there that slice and the witch queen craftable weapons origin trait, psychohack, will stack. Something to keep in your pocket incase you find yourself or your team struggling to survive.

Being a lightweight bow sucks but it's the only bow that can run disruption break meaning it's great for a handcannon bow hotswap and it rolls with the new perk when you use your class ability and if changes to your subclass element till stowed meaning if you want a legendary strand bow you can

Going for fustion then shotgun. Really wish they'd give us a good craftable kenetic bow or new bow perks! All the legendary bows are nearly the same! Thank God we got the new exotic that im excited about

I don't get why Bungie releases a second void bow, when we still don't have much of a selection in craftable void primary. Or are they actually keeping void smgs/autos/pulses hard to acquire on purpose?
That said, under you skin is one of my most used void primary (tempo-warm up), so some variety might be good. Thinking repulsor-tricorn. Void-lock has a lot of grenades for volatile, but no overshield source, so that seems like it would work well, almost as well as an unforgiven I still don't have...

deconstruct actully might be really good on weapons for DPS since it reloads the weapon by just doing damage
It has to be damaging a construct though, which would be enemies we barely see like turrets
@@demonjoeDoes also work on stasis crystals so maybe there's some value there? It also doesn't activate just on damaging constructs, regular enemies too based on the wording. Merely benefits most from damaging constructs as this activates the perk faster.

Imo, strand/stasis slugs/snipers are inherently worse than kinetics because of damage loss and they don't really provide any benefit from subclass synergy

Oversoul Edict is a rapid fire arc pulse that can get Voltshot if you're comfortable with raids.

@user-pq8on8bx9g it might be slower but you have to work on keeping B&S up, makes it great to pair with witherhoard but sometimes I'll fuck up the rotation and lose out on damage. This just seems like a perk with better ease of use with 10% less damage

Vex goes crazy with Rain of Fire on dawnblade. You can extend radiant and resto x2 with empyrean and it has some nice aoe with the last column mod that makes ignitions off precision kills while radiant.
Pulse should smash in pvp, has all the right perks and trait is fantastic
