- Base Recipe:
1 Pound Beef
1 Package Pork Skin (7 Ounces)
1 Packet of Nam Powder
1/2 Cup - 3/4 Cup of Sugar (Depening on how sweet you like it)
Salt
4 Drops of Red Food Color
Garlic
Chilis
Black Peppercorns
Extra Shopping Items:
Vietnamese Coriander
Vinegar
Mortar and Pestle (or smash the peppercorn using any method)
Notes:
- Leave beef in freezer for a couple of hours - easier to cut if it’s firm.
- I made triple the recipe in this video.

Hi, I wouldn’t recommend making it without the pork skin. I would say it’s essential to the recipe. You can find it in the frozen section of an oriental grocery store. Hope you can find some!
How many pound in this video?? Alot sugar for only 1 pound
