My husband and I have also decided not to have children. We experience a lot of... I'm not sure of the best word... interference from others. However it is not their choice. We have cats and like to travel and experience/eat different things! It should be everyone's choice to have children but it makes me feel normalized by hearing about your choices as well. So thank you for sharing that again.
I don't understand how people feel so comfortable asking such a personal question. I have married friends and it seems like the second they get married they are constantly asked when they're having children.
Lizzy Rae Believe It or not Couples deciding to not have kids are growing. We decided to not have kids and I know the struggle that comes with it. People actually judge you for it especially family members. We are thick headed and never really follow what is expected. So much happier for it!
+Lizzy Rae Having kids is a couple's choice, it's as simple as that. It can be rather frustrating to experience that 'interference' from others as you said. Luckily our families respect our decision, but I know other couples aren't so lucky. Honestly, although I am a mother of an adult daughter, I'm glad that you knew your own minds and decided not to have kids. Seriously there are sooo many people out there in the world who should not have become parents, they're either not suited to it or abusive to their kids. So to make a choice not to and know what you can and can't handle or want in your lives is an intelligent decision. I know this is an old video but I only just discovered this couple today. :)

This is such a well organized and fun Q&A video. And seeing you guys reading the question def made my day.. Hope you have a great week Kyuho and Sarah!
OMG I feel honoured that you chose my question as the first one to answer. Thanks so much! :) I really like your Q & A videos, they're always really interesting and I get to know so many new things about you.
I really like you guys, your content is great, it is different in terms of editing does not distort too much, you are kind of natural. +Heiko D. Yeh Ohh, thank you so much! We put a ton of time and effort into the editing process, so it's really rewarding to read these kinds of comments ☺️
I really always enjoy your Q & A's! Being in the same position about deciding to not have kids, it is so refreshing and helpful to hear others talk about so honestly. Sometimes, it is difficult with society pressures and just seeing endless RUclipsrs having children. Thanks! :)
I'm from Singapore and it's a great place to live in. Yeah housing is expensive but that is the case in any metropolis right? For couples, you can still rent a decent studio apartment similar to your current one for like $1.6-1.8k sgd? There are cheap and expensive options here for food, so I like the balance. Cars are expensive but the public transport system is not bad so you can still make it without a car. Downside is that the weather is just. Too. Hot. Seriously. And it seems to be getting hotter.
You guys should try living in Phoenix, AZ U.SA. for awhile. It's not the best place to live but the weather here sounds like what you guys want, dry heat (no humidity) 21-32 degrees C all year round exept for june-august which gets to 43 degrees C but at night it's not too bad ^^ winter is only a month and stays around 10-18 degrees C then it warms up again
You two always film such terrific videos! As someone who really loves Korea, I always enjoy when you just walk around Seoul visiting different areas, your filming and choice of music are gorgeous! Of course you will reach 100,000!
I'm watching this in late 2019 and realizing how both of you still look the same 4 year, ago, which means both of you have gotten along fine as international couple.
I'm Canadian and living in Korea...I agree - clean air is definitely one of the top things I miss!! I think I'm gonna make a video on my likes and dislikes of Korea too...thanks for sharing yours!
I would like to hear about gender equality or misogynie in Korea because it's a huge issue these days and peolple don't really get the idea. I want to hear some of your opinions and story.
I've introduced you guys to some of my students. 100k won't be too far by next year hopefully. Aim higher. 1 million for example. With the charm of you guys and Beemo's adorable cuteness explosiveness, anything is possible. I feel the generation gap is common in Asian culture in general because of our customs and history. But there are plenty of parents in the US and in Taiwan who are also willing to try new things and I love them all for it! My question is - what was the quality you guys saw in each other that sealed the deal? What was the main thing that made you, Sarah, fall in love with Kyuho? And what was the main thing that made you, Kyuho, fall in love with Sarah?
+Julianna Villalobos Oml, I've been feeling kind of like a yucky blob today in my sweats trying to adjust to the abrupt fall weather, and your comment totally just made my day...thank you! 😳💕
love watching the videos. i am also korean and married to an american. i grew up in korea back in the 60's and left korea when i was around 9yrs old. grew up in Il San Korea
yes, its very difficult topic. my girlfriend is korean and we have so many barriers to conquer with her parents. its just way more conservative than what i am used to (i'm german)
I feel Koreans are so much more free minded and modernistic in their views and opinions than Indians. Cuz even though there's a generation gap people try to adapt over there. That's something I've seen in Koreans and I love about Koreans. Which is a good thing :)
I studied in Korea and miss it so much, so I live vicariously through you both haha can't wait for more videos! I really look forward to them every week!
At least I had to leave any comment to support you guys! Well... such an ideal couple. There is no slightly better one. You two both are just lucky to meet your soulmate!
I'm from Singapore.. Singapore is so congested, full of people everywhere... and it's not warm but HOT these days due to global warming..and one must be extremely rich to buy a house here ..
Loved this video ❤️ love you guys, I admire you guys as a person so much ;) Have you consider uploading one more video a week? I really loved to see you guys more, my life is kind of boring XD Huge fan from Portugal 🇵🇹
Sarah, I don't know how you haven't been approached let alone discovered to be a model.....you have the perfect complexion for it and you are sleek and statuesque with an elegant fashion style (you bear a remarkable resemblance to Astrid Frisbay from the 4th Pirates of Caribbean movie, except I think you are more of a natural beauty than she is).... Kyuho, you personify the kind of gentleman that ALL men should strive to be, especially with whom they love..... You guys have a wonderful relationship and is the kind that I am hoping that I am lucky enough to find myself in in the eventual future. Best wishes and regards from a new found fan :)
I envy you guys :( I'm a female and I also don't want kids but that seems to be a deal breaker for all guys and everyone else I tell gives me a bad look so now I keep it to myself. I hope someday I'll find the KyuHo to my Sarah 💕
Cindy Y if somebody doesn't respect what you want then too bad for them. Everyone tells me i'll want kids soon. I'm nearly 27 and still know that it's not for me. There'll be somebody out there for you 👍
Oh my god i feel so awkward when Kyoho read a Korean sentence, not just short words, even if he is a KOREAN haha that's weird 🌀 anyway, as a student and also part time worker who r currently livings in Australia, I truly love u both and always look forward to watching your new video! I don't know why but even by watching your video, i feel so calm and happy ☺️ Thanks for making such a great video!
Singapore is a great city to live in, and interestingly most Singaporeans only realise that when they live abroad for awhile, myself included. Food is great and can be affordable. There are always things to do and places to explore if you are searching! It's a really safe country to live in too :) thank you for your videos, I really enjoy them!
I kinda had a feeling that you guys were gonna say Singapore when you mentioned that you wanted to stay in someplace warm all year round! HAHA I'm from Singapore btw! Singapore is great and all but it gets boring if you stay here for too long.. HAHAHA >
Singapore welcomes you always! Hehe. Stay real and authentic Sarah and Kyuho :) Besides our humidity, Singapore is really safe and we have a unique blend of people living here from our original mix of Chinese, Malay, Indian and others (CMIO model) and many visitors! Singapore is like a mini bustling hub. I thank God for the stability of this little red dot. Hope to meet the 2 of you, if you ever come to Singapore! :) X, Eleanor
Round of applause for another successful Q&A 👏 Love the content you both put up and how the interactions are natural and unscripted and not heavily edited. 👌 Love getting to know you both on a personal level and this makes me love + fan girl even more hard is the fact that you interact with your fans/admirers/followers and you take the time to open your (figurative) doors and allow us to connect with you. It makes me think like, "oh they're not your average RUclipsrs who are in it for fame or what have you. Sarah and Kyuho are real and down to earth people with kind hearts." Have you considered setting up some Sort of mailing address (like a PO BOX that's not your physical address because well, safety concerns, right?) so we can send you postcards and the likes to express how much we appreciate and love you both? 😃 (totally not in creeper status way, lol 😅) Kyuho sorry about the rumors spread about you but I'm sure you'll be thrilled to hear that I will be spreading your amazing channel and hope you reach your 100k subscriber goal! Also, Singapore yes! High five! Also, Southern California like Orange County area 😎
+Lina K Ohhh, thank you so much for your kind words, it really means a lot ☺️ We love doing what we do, so we always hope viewers can feel that while watching our videos ^^ And yes, we have thought about getting a PO BOX, but it's so difficult to get in Korea! There are SUPER long wait lists (we've been waiting for about 3 months now...) and you can only keep your PO BOX if you get a minimum of 30 parcels delivered to it per month, so...we likely won't be able to get one 😑 That being said, we may look into using a business address of an acquaintance of ours, so if that's possible, we'll announce it in a future video. Fingers crossed! 😬 Awww, haha, now 'channel spreading' is something Kyuho definitely would mind! 😂
Aww I love how balance and calm you guys are~ I think you were definitely meant for each other. The chemistry between you two just flows easily. (And I only discovered you guys recently.. I think this is my 3rd video binge watching you guys from randomly clicking something haha) I personally think you're just a normal couple. I mean if I met you guys in Canada or the States I wouldn't think about international marriages being an issue seeing how well you both communicate with each other and express your feelings to one another. I would actually think you're both Canadian because Sarah is and Kyuho doesn't even sound like he's a Korean speaking English. LOL you know them Starbuckssss 😂😂
I hear you on the generation gap topic. I feel like things change and evolve so quickly these days that the gap can get bigger rapidly. On a lighter topic, would love to see some cooking videos! Perhaps your fave dish(es) you love to make together? Thanks for your videos and sharing your lives with us!
the age gap seems to be a problem in every asian country. I'm a part russian and was raised with the whole 'respect the elder' thing but when you get older and have your own mind and way of dealing/seeing with things it's really upsetting not to be able to speak up. If only I would have given a dollar for everytime I've heard the sentence 'watch your tone when you speak to older' I could easily do a world trip.
Come to Singapore!!! It'll be a great experience to u both, good points abt Singapore: 1.)it's extremely multicultural, 2.) everybody speaks English, 3.) ppl r friendly n polite, civilized n cultured, educated, well exposed, well informed.... Etc , an average Singaporean is definitely a lot more well exposed n informed than an average Korean, no offense, am just being honest 4.) there r tonnes of inter-racial couples so nobody would bat an eye whenever they see u guys together, 5.) there r tonnes of foreigners from different nationalities in Singapore and u guys would definitely make friends really easily, there r definitely more westerners in Singapore than Seoul, in Seoul many ppl considered itaewon to be a foreigners area, but in Singapore such categorization don't exist coz foreigners r everywhere, 6.) it's one of the safest country in the world, 7.) very clean, but of course Japan is still cleaner 8.) great public transport system 9.) great food, u get all sorts of food from different types of ie Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, western, Japanese, Korean, Italian.. Etc, all within fairly short distances from each other, 10.) as long as u speak good English, it shouldn't be hard for u to get a job coz non Singaporean citizen workers made up at least half of Singaporeans labourers, 11.) great night life, but soju is not that common in Singapore 12.) great shopping, u'll get sick of seeing shopping centers coz they're everywhere 13.) it's a tiny island but still it's quite greenish since tress n plants r everywhere even in the city center 14.) kinda hot all year round which might be great coz u guys prefer warm weather 15.) fast internet, but Korea's still faster 16.) efficiency n effectiveness in everything from services provided in restaurants, banks, government offices.. Etc saves time n sweat 17.) less stereotyping n tendency to conform to a certain style/trend/fad as compared to the Koreans, no one in Singapore expects anyone to have straight eyebrows+bright lips+see through fringe+low ponytails+pale skin to be considered as pretty, an average Singaporean is well exposed since young not so they're well versed in different standards n types of beauty in different cultures, plenty of Singaporeans r tanned n fairly sporty with muscle tone, an average Singaporean guy will think Beyoncé is pretty, Taylor swift is pretty, and song hye Kyo is pretty though these 3 have entirely different skin colour n style. 18.) u can travel to Malaysia anytime by taking a bus, plenty of ppl travel back n forth daily for work, Malaysia has great authentic cheap food, their street/hawker centres food r much better than Singapore's, things like hair cuts/facials/massages/manicures r at least half the price than wat u pay in Singapore but the quality u get is the same as Singapore's, sometimes even better. Bad points: 1.) u can't own a car coz it's very expensive, but u don't need one coz their public transportation system is good 2.) expensive rental, tiny apartments, but I think seoul's rental is more expensive 3.) some Singaporeans can be pretty rude to foreigners coz most of them do have a sense of superiority complex, especially towards those who r from countries which r deemed less well off than Singapore, however since both of u guys r originally from affluent countries, most likely u won't be subjected to those sorts of discriminations, Singapore I still lot less hostile towards foreigners than Korea. 4.) ordering for food to be delivered to your house is pretty much non existent, shopping online for clothes isn't common as well coz shopping centres r everywhere 5.) water is a scare resource so expect fairly high water bills as compared to the rates u r paying in Korea 6.) coz everybody wants to work in Singapore these days, and if u r not a citizen or a permanent resident which does not make it compulsory for your bosses to contribute to your CPF fund, there is a possibility u don't that portion added to your monthly take home pay, 5 years ago almost every foreigners have higher take home pay than their Singaporeans counterparts becoz they got the CPF portion paid out to them in cash every month, nowadays this is no longer the case coz bosses can't be bothered to do so since the supply of labours exceeds demand. 7.) things like mini marts/convenience stores r around every corner in seoul, however stores like 7/11 don't really exist around every corner in Singapore, u need to buy everything u need at shopping centres, 8.) really cheap make up like the ones in myeongdong r non existent in Singapore, also clothes costing 10k won to 20k won Like the ones at underground shopping centers in Seoul don't really exist in Singapore, you'll need an average sgd 20++ for a really normal top. 9.) u May find Singapore sterile and boring after a while coz though Singapore has many great points, it is kinda sterile n bland in many ways after u have lived there for a while, every area/suburb looks almost the same, everywhere in city center basically look like the central business district in gang nam but with more trees n plants, residential areas r filled with high rise apartment buildings, night life basically revolves around 2 areas Clark quay or boat quay. Places with individual characteristics like Hong dae, garosugil, apgujeong...etc don't really exist in Singapore, there is no specific area called student/youngsters area or area where all the higher class ppl hang out for tea/lunch to see and be seen..etc, these sort of specific places don't really exist in Singapore, things like shopping in boutiques along the streets n sitting down for coffee in cafes by the streets to ppl watch do not really exist in Singapore, all cafes n shoppings r found predominantly in giant malls, malls play a big part in daily lives in Singapore. Good luck!!
Clarissa Tan hmm, i guess places like joo chiat/holland v kinda doesn't give out the generic vibe/atmosphere of many other areas in Singapore, but still it's a fact that anyone who's not born/bred in Singapore will find Singapore kinda boring after a while. But that doesn't mean Singapore government made it that way coz they have poor town planning that's why Singapore isn't as colourful as other major cities around the world, in fact the government has done a great job to develop this tiny island to house millions of ppl+foreigners while trying to keep everything diverse, exciting and green in this tiny piece of land. Singapore has become what it is today becoz of the extreme limited space, which is inevitable. Extreme efficient and effective town planning for development is needed to make use of each space to the highest benefit for the future of Singapore in the long run.
hey sarah & kyuho, just a heads up if you guys are seriously thinking about living in singapore.. i'm not sure if you know but it doesn't harm to get some tips from locals ( aka me) for foreigners wanting to live in singapore, securing a house is prob more expensive than korea as far as i know. the living standard is high ;/ but our country is all year round summer :D
+Fion SMACKS Hey~! Yeah, we've heard housing can be quite expensive 😑 But if we could ever pull it off, we'd love to live there for at least a few years, and we'd definitely have to ask lots of questions 😁 That year round summer though... 😍
besides the housing problem, there is probably nothing bad about my country hehehe! loving you guys for the different videos, thank you for your hard work! by then when you guys think its time to live here, do feel free to ask! i bet there are some singaporean fans out there besides me haha
Yess Sarah!!! I felt that way too!! With the air pollution and too many people around me. Lol It must be a Canadian thing.. Cause usually there's not a lot of people around you when you go out unless there's an event or someplace just normally crowded.
Feel like having a chat over coffee watching this kind of video. Australia would be fitting if you prefer warmer weather. Depends on which part of the country you wanna live in it can be warm all year round without the lack of personal space :)
I met an Australian this afternoon and while chatting she said they have been in SIngapore for 2 years and they love it. If not for the expensive school fee for 3 kids they will stay another 20 years ! They love the weather, the food, the cleanliness, transport, etc... Like Singaporean they know how to hide from the heat.... walk down Orchard road and you just need to run into the mall, you get some respite ... haha... well-schooled ! Bid her farewell.. going back to Sydney this December.
I can totally understand your decision regarding kids! In Germany a lot of people don't want kids, I personally want to have two, but everyone thinks different :) I'm not sure if you talked about it before in a video Sarah, but are you sometimes homesick? If yes, how do you cope with it? I'd really like to see a video about it :)
There are a lot of expats in singapore. Thats why english speaking expats feel at home there. Most of them hang out at Clark Quay, and its fun, and most tourist also hang out there at night. Singapore itself is boring. You can see the whole island in one day. Singapore would be the last place i want to live. Its also expensive there. However they have the best chili crabs and hainan chicken in the world.
Ж perhaps you looked in all the wrong places. As a Singaporean, I do sometimes get bored of it here too but I realised I haven't been looking hard enough. We have a lot of things to do but it's just not as publicised as much to foreigners or to people who don't know where to look :)
Thanks for answering our questions! and mine too hehe. hope you guys do come to Singapore one day! hold a fan meeting maybe? keep doing what you do, we'll always support you guys! Much love!
Woaaahh, we had NO idea we had so many viewers from Singapore, haha!! Thank you so much for all of your advice, guys! :D

Ezra Who's Ben?
I guess he/she is talking about Ben Deen, a Korean American youtuber, making videos about his life in Korea; he recently reached 100k subscribers.
Evelina Grušaitė but their videos are much better than his lol

My question is - what was the quality you guys saw in each other that sealed the deal? What was the main thing that made you, Sarah, fall in love with Kyuho? And what was the main thing that made you, Kyuho, fall in love with Sarah?
I always wanna comment on how beautiful Sarah is but I don't want y'all to think I'm creeping lmao but I'm low key girl crushing #sorrynotsorry
+Julianna Villalobos Oml, I've been feeling kind of like a yucky blob today in my sweats trying to adjust to the abrupt fall weather, and your comment totally just made my day...thank you! 😳💕
love watching the videos. i am also korean and married to an american. i grew up in korea back in the 60's and left korea when i was around 9yrs old. grew up in Il San Korea
huge generation gap.. I feel you Kyuho ㅠㅠ..
yes, its very difficult topic. my girlfriend is korean and we have so many barriers to conquer with her parents. its just way more conservative than what i am used to (i'm german)
I feel Koreans are so much more free minded and modernistic in their views and opinions than Indians. Cuz even though there's a generation gap people try to adapt over there. That's something I've seen in Koreans and I love about Koreans. Which is a good thing :)
i think new generation definitevely is, but the parent generation is much more conservative
I studied in Korea and miss it so much, so I live vicariously through you both haha can't wait for more videos! I really look forward to them every week!
"Modest house"
S: ..I want to have a garden..
Kyu: ..I want a pool...I want a ping pong table"
😂 love your vids guys!😁❤️
At least I had to leave any comment to support you guys! Well... such an ideal couple. There is no slightly better one. You two both are just lucky to meet your soulmate!
100K is around the corner!!!!!!!! Never impossible
Thank you for making the videos for us to watch. I am enjoying every videos that you make.
I'm from Singapore.. Singapore is so congested, full of people everywhere... and it's not warm but HOT these days due to global warming..and one must be extremely rich to buy a house here ..
A lot of Europeans there I've heard.
so happy, watching you guys. learning a lot. my husband and I are definitely interested in coming there soon.
+jkim0065 Holyyy smokes, what an incredibly flattering comment! 😳 Thank you so very much for the kind words--totally made our day! ☺️
I'm so glad you guys are so passionate about RUclips because I really love yalls videos!
There'll be somebody out there for you 👍
I live in India and not wanting kids is almost a crime. My parents would straight up slap me. LOL. You will find a KyuHo to your Sarah don't worry!!
Anusha Reddy Hope you will too ^^
Oh my god i feel so awkward when Kyoho read a Korean sentence, not just short words, even if he is a KOREAN haha that's weird 🌀 anyway, as a student and also part time worker who r currently livings in Australia, I truly love u both and always look forward to watching your new video! I don't know why but even by watching your video, i feel so calm and happy ☺️ Thanks for making such a great video!
Love you guys! x
I loved it. Nice Q&A quys. It was natural and entertaining. Thanks for your answers
Omg thanks so much for answering my question❤️love your videos
You guys even answered two questions😍😭
Hey Sarah! Could you do a video on your skincare routine? Your skin looks amazing!!
I think she already did a video about her skincare
+Patricia McLaughlin Woah, thanks, haha! You beat me to it! 😁
I learned a lot from that one, so I saved the link for easy access. ☺️
Patricia McLaughlin Thank you for the link!!
You're very welcome!
X,
Eleanor
I always love watching your videos! Good luck with all and I look forward for more videos.
Round of applause for another successful Q&A 👏
Love the content you both put up and how the interactions are natural and unscripted and not heavily edited. 👌
Love getting to know you both on a personal level and this makes me love + fan girl even more hard is the fact that you interact with your fans/admirers/followers and you take the time to open your (figurative) doors and allow us to connect with you. It makes me think like, "oh they're not your average RUclipsrs who are in it for fame or what have you. Sarah and Kyuho are real and down to earth people with kind hearts."
Have you considered setting up some
Sort of mailing address (like a PO BOX that's not your physical address because well, safety concerns, right?) so we can send you postcards and the likes to express how much we appreciate and love you both? 😃 (totally not in creeper status way, lol 😅)
Kyuho sorry about the rumors spread about you but I'm sure you'll be thrilled to hear that I will be spreading your amazing channel and hope you reach your 100k subscriber goal!
Also, Singapore yes! High five! Also, Southern California like Orange County area 😎
+Lina K Ohhh, thank you so much for your kind words, it really means a lot ☺️ We love doing what we do, so we always hope viewers can feel that while watching our videos ^^
And yes, we have thought about getting a PO BOX, but it's so difficult to get in Korea! 😬
Awww, haha, now 'channel spreading' is something Kyuho definitely would mind! 😂
Yes, please!! Come and live in Singapore!
"ping pong table? that's random"
new sub here^^ i usually dont subscribe to youtube channels but u guys deserve more than 100k keep going
Awww, thank you so much! :)
GBY. You guys are doing a good job. Keep it up.

woohoo!! Singapore...!!! My homie! yeah warm climate all year round.. love u guys and of coz beemo 💖
You look amazing Sarah!
Dear Sarah and kyuho, I love this video.. Love u two.... Love ur channel
The serious point: I respect how candid you two are.
The frivolous point: No Bemo No Party!
Yay! I'm @uh.lysa on Instagram! Thank you for answering my question 😄
I've just discover your channel but I'm glad, really love your contents and your personality 😊 greetings from Italy💕
So cute ❤️ love u guys 100k is near!!!
Love the way Kyuho said "winner"
the age gap seems to be a problem in every asian country. I'm a part russian and was raised with the whole 'respect the elder' thing but when you get older and have your own mind and way of dealing/seeing with things it's really upsetting not to be able to speak up. If only I would have given a dollar for everytime I've heard the sentence 'watch your tone when you speak to older' I could easily do a world trip.
as a korean I also feel a big generation gap, but I don't say it as well haha but very frustrating everytime
Come to Singapore!!! It'll be a great experience to u both, good points abt Singapore:
1.)it's extremely multicultural,
2.) everybody speaks English,
3.) ppl r friendly n polite, civilized n cultured, educated, well exposed, well informed.... Etc , an average Singaporean is definitely a lot more well exposed n informed than an average Korean, no offense, am just being honest
4.) there r tonnes of inter-racial couples so nobody would bat an eye whenever they see u guys together,
5.) there r tonnes of foreigners from different nationalities in Singapore and u guys would definitely make friends really easily, there r definitely more westerners in Singapore than Seoul, in Seoul many ppl considered itaewon to be a foreigners area, but in Singapore such categorization don't exist coz foreigners r everywhere,
6.) it's one of the safest country in the world,
7.) very clean, but of course Japan is still cleaner
8.) great public transport system
9.) great food, u get all sorts of food from different types of ie Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, western, Japanese, Korean, Italian.. Etc, all within fairly short distances from each other,
10.) as long as u speak good English, it shouldn't be hard for u to get a job coz non Singaporean citizen workers made up at least half of Singaporeans labourers,
11.) great night life, but soju is not that common in Singapore
12.) great shopping, u'll get sick of seeing shopping centers coz they're everywhere
13.) it's a tiny island but still it's quite greenish since tress n plants r everywhere even in the city center
14.) kinda hot all year round which might be great coz u guys prefer warm weather
15.) fast internet, but Korea's still faster
16.) efficiency n effectiveness in everything from services provided in restaurants, banks, government offices.. Etc saves time n sweat
17.) less stereotyping n tendency to conform to a certain style/trend/fad as compared to the Koreans, no one in Singapore expects anyone to have straight eyebrows+bright lips+see through fringe+low ponytails+pale skin to be considered as pretty, an average Singaporean is well exposed since young not so they're well versed in different standards n types of beauty in different cultures, plenty of Singaporeans r tanned n fairly sporty with muscle tone, an average Singaporean guy will think Beyoncé is pretty, Taylor swift is pretty, and song hye Kyo is pretty though these 3 have entirely different skin colour n style.
Bad points:
1.) u can't own a car coz it's very expensive, but u don't need one coz their public transportation system is good
2.) expensive rental, tiny apartments, but I think seoul's rental is more expensive
3.) some Singaporeans can be pretty rude to foreigners coz most of them do have a sense of superiority complex, especially towards those who r from countries which r deemed less well off than Singapore, however since both of u guys r originally from affluent countries, most likely u won't be subjected to those sorts of discriminations, Singapore I still lot less hostile towards foreigners than Korea.
4.) ordering for food to be delivered to your house is pretty much non existent, shopping online for clothes isn't common as well coz shopping centres r everywhere
5.) water is a scare resource so expect fairly high water bills as compared to the rates u r paying in Korea
6.) coz everybody wants to work in Singapore these days, and if u r not a citizen or a permanent resident which does not make it compulsory for your bosses to contribute to your CPF fund, there is a possibility u don't that portion added to your monthly take home pay, 5 years ago almost every foreigners have higher take home pay than their Singaporeans counterparts becoz they got the CPF portion paid out to them in cash every month, nowadays this is no longer the case coz bosses can't be bothered to do so since the supply of labours exceeds demand.
7.) things like mini marts/convenience stores r around every corner in seoul, however stores like 7/11 don't really exist around every corner in Singapore, u need to buy everything u need at shopping centres,
8.) really cheap make up like the ones in myeongdong r non existent in Singapore, also clothes costing 10k won to 20k won Like the ones at underground shopping centers in Seoul don't really exist in Singapore, you'll need an average sgd 20++ for a really normal top.
Good luck!!
Cute Puppy
What about places like Joo Chiat, holland v .., I think they are colourful and full of character
WOW, thank you so much for taking the time to write out all these pros/cons--it was incredibly helpful!! :D
2hearts1seoul aargh!!! U replied!!😂 love the vids as always 😘
Hello from Russia! I heard that Kyuho have lived in Russia for a period time. What does he think about it?
I was having a bad day and your video popped up
Thank you!
hey sarah & kyuho, just a heads up if you guys are seriously thinking about living in singapore.. i'm not sure if you know but it doesn't harm to get some tips from locals ( aka me) for foreigners wanting to live in singapore, securing a house is prob more expensive than korea as far as i know. the living standard is high ;/ but our country is all year round summer :D
+Fion SMACKS Hey~! Yeah, we've heard housing can be quite expensive 😑 But if we could ever pull it off, we'd love to live there for at least a few years, and we'd definitely have to ask lots of questions 😁 That year round summer though... 😍
besides the housing problem, there is probably nothing bad about my country hehehe! loving you guys for the different videos, thank you for your hard work! by then when you guys think its time to live here, do feel free to ask! i bet there are some singaporean fans out there besides me haha
aaah got so excited when you guys mentioned "singapore"!!!!! waiting on your news of moving to singapore!! haha :)
I'm from Singapore! Great to hear that you guys want to live here! :)
Yess Sarah!!! I felt that way too!! With the air pollution and too many people around me. Lol It must be a Canadian thing.. Cause usually there's not a lot of people around you when you go out unless there's an event or someplace just normally crowded.
i really like your thoughts and the values of life~! i hope you can make videos as a fulltime job before long. always i support you. go for it !
Aww, thank you so much! ☺️
In Germany a lot of people don't want kids, I personally want to have two, but everyone thinks different :)
I'm not sure if you talked about it before in a video Sarah, but are you sometimes homesick? If yes, how do you cope with it? I'd really like to see a video about it :)
This is my couple goals, since like forever.
Singapore is a great place ~ 100K is definitely v soon for u guys.
Thanks for answering our questions! and mine too hehe. hope you guys do come to Singapore one day! hold a fan meeting maybe? keep doing what you do, we'll always support you guys! Much love!
