To keep the shards high and still win this ring 2, but who would it guessed it. Also second note: 23:53 Yes it is good Content, cause we got finally our 30 min blitz monster train. I was 2nd when I finished this with the 70kish score, though I'm sure it's been surpassed by now. I did some nutso build with a stack of infused intrinsic perils and a kinstone carapace... Something that I didn't see anyone else try really. I definitely could have done a lot better--got really beat up on a few floors in the early game (think the floor you lost on was one of them and lost most of my health there) and struggled against Crystal Cloak--barely squeaked by on that one but was pretty smooth sailing after that fight. Being really aggressive on pact shards really made it difficult early on. I think the main difference with what I did vs what you did going into ring 2 is that I intrinsic'd the bounding echoes so my kinhost was a little beefy to start. ETA: I think you should upload videos like this! It's nice to see that even the masters of the game can struggle sometimes!
If it's any consolation, the Umbra banner on ring 1 wasn't much better. I went that way and had to choose between Shadoweater and Morsel Master. I took Shadoweater, by some miracle managed to get through ring 2, but died to Daedalus after many restarts of that fight. And I wasn't even pushing pact shards. I'm glad you uploaded the video. I know it doesn't feel good to lose, but a lot of people (myself included!) watch your content to learn, and there's value in understanding that RNG sometimes means there are runs that even the pros struggle with.
Howie Day’s “Collide” comes to mind - “Even the best fall down sometimes.” You posting this video is why I watch your channel. Win with grace, lose with dignity. And it was educational. If nothing else, it highlights how (as you always say) “card draw is your friend.” Think that’s enough quotes and platitudes for one post. Awesome as always!
Thanks for the upload! Still very educational and very entertaining to watch even a loss like this! I think the Magic shop you went to was a Bait. With so little draw in the first place you needed a super powerful banner unit, which you were guaranteed one even if you had to just put in 2 +25 health. With the Magic shop (Not even counting the reduced draw due to the curses from the reconcilers) You were only guaranteed to see your entire deck once, and completely possible all the upgrades you put on your magic cards would be useless since you could have drawn them on a turn they did nothing or had no target for.
I prefer seeing a defeat than nothing, personnaly, by far ! I do wonder, is it a possibility to replay them ( I don't play Daily, I don't actually know ) : I would have loved a replay. But do please upload the fails, we enjoy them. Liked and commented

This just really shows how crazy dailies can be. Expert Challenges are Covenant 25, and most of them got nothing on some of the dailies.
