They're definitely a band that thrives playing live, you can feel the joy they have for performing for an audience that's going crazy and singing back to them when you see them live. I went with a friend who wasn't keen on them but was really excited to see Disturbed who they were touring with at the time and now he's a huge A7X fan because he enjoyed seeing them live so much.

Man I wish I could see an alternate version of reality where The Rev is still alive. I still love A7X and 99% of what they've done since he passed but I often think about what they'd sound like if he was still here. I don't think they'd be too different, still very experimental and pushing the boundaries of their song writing, but he was such a driving force in that writing that I can't help but wonder what his influence would have brought in this day and age. Can't believe it's been over 13 years, RIP Jimmy.
