Great review! Love your vids! The helmet was designed to have that back piece movable to help with sizing as you speculated. The other Disney helmet, first order stormtrooper, has the same exact feature with the movable back piece. Only downside is the gap that it creates. Something I have been doing is using the Velcro and padding as a way to hold the two parts together from the inside of the helmet by using the Velcro on each side and using the padding to connect both pieces. Also not sure if you knew this but not only does the helmet have the voice changing feature but also phrases and lines that are prerecorded which is kind of nice. That's actually a really good idea, Fizzacles. I was going to do that to begin with, then I decided I didn't want anything too permanent, so I used rigging tape on the interior to hold it together for display. Yeah, I didn't watch much of the older animation, Jon, so I wouldn't know either. I know there was a Mace Windu and several clones multi-pack that came out in the Vintage Collection some years ago and the clones packed with him looked like this. Long Live the Galactic Republic. I love the 187th Helmet. I use it while playing the old 2005 Battlefront. I personally want a Phase 1 Captain helmet for cosplay reason, but the 187th is atill really cool to have. My second full helmets.

Apologies for my lack of presence recently Paul, but again an extremely thorough and comprehensive review from the bucket expert, great looking helmet but very random in all its paint app finishes, and that fitting system with the snap back of the helmet, a very strange decision if that’s a deliberate design feature, but always a pleasure listening to your thoughts 👍

I figured it would just be a Hasbro contract job or something. But, as you saw, it's entirely different construction. I'm glad the video helped a little as well. And I am out of space also. I had to store away a helmet to make room for this one on the shelves for a while. Rotating helmets. It's what my life has been reduced to! haha!

the pictures you used for Mace's troopers were fan art. this is the correct paint design for canon, but I agree, it would look better with more purple...
also, I personally like this helmet scale better than the black series ones... idk, I always felt the black series ones were too big on people's heads, and having this one slightly smaller is more appealing to me... im debating getting this one, or waiting and hoping they release a generic trooper with this mold... im doing a display of the progression of trooper helmets, and all im missing is a Phase 2 clone, Scout Trooper, and First Order TK...
