Just FYI, Jurassic Park was almost entirely Animatronics, not CGI. Those combined with the amazing prop workers who did the skin, eyes, etc. and fabulous filming techniques is why it still holds up. The CGI additions to the dinosaurs were minimal.

Machine learning seems to be driven by the same min/max optimization that is driving a lot of things that are crashing nowadays. It's like how for a while every movie was a rehashed re-/pre-/de-boot of a superhero comic, every commercial is "buying insurance is easier than [insert non-sequitur here]", and even pre-bots, social media has always been a repeated dopamine hit for narcissism without much thought about its larger impact. An AI or studio or ad agency or SEO believes that, indeed, past performance GUARANTEES future results, and that clicks or eyeballs or whatever are the metric for success simply because it's easy to measure rather than actually effective or good. But I think there's hope. Along the lines of your analogy of CG movies, it seems audiences are turning from pure CG goop to new stories, and the younger generations are reportedly turning their backs on social media. I truly believe that uncanny valley requires a human-in-the-middle to turn digital trash into something that doesn't automatically trigger a bs filter. It might take a generation for society / the market to realize it (crossing my fingers that things don't implode until then), but hopefully we can find a place where AI is a helpful tool and not a death sentence for creativity. Keep it up man, we need more thoughtful content available and you seem very genuine

I'm interested in seeing where AI takes us. My opinion, it'll EVENTUALLY be the right direction, but it's gonna be a VERY bumpy road to get there.. Especially for certain people.

I think the "Dead Internet Theory" is interesting, but since I don't know anyone that doesn't use the Internet, I'm not sure how valid it is. My brother may be the only person in the US above about 10-years-old that doesn't have a cell. phone, but he'll still get on RUclips and watch videos.

If you want to help stop this maybe stop calling it ai. It is machine learning. Calling it ai is how they get funding and buyers.

This entire videos gripe is multimedia... my entire gripe is that you didnt spend a decade helping document and fix issues that people do have... the multimedia portion is hilariously a byproduct
