I have to agree. Most of the time I watch the whole race through. With F1 this year I dosed off so many times...

どう考えても335がブッチギリやろーと思って見てたけどスカイラインが健闘してて少し嬉しい
There is only a problem on this race, and the problem is the BMW.
The 335 Came from a smaller car, Class.
So is pretty obvious that having the same range of power of the other cars on a car that is much lighter helps a lot.
I would like that all this tests were made with manual transmission and in this particular case, using a BMW 5 series
To make it equal you have to switch that car ( the Audi equivalent was A4 and the Mercedes, the C Class and so on)
現在もＶ３６スカイラインに乗ってますが、サーキット場でヨーロッパ車と互角に走ってる姿を見て感動しました^o^
この型の3シリーズクーペとv36セダン乗ってたけどのんびりと軽やかに走れてよかった。パワーは充分ある。今はV35スカイラインクーペ乗ってる変わり者
日産はあまり好きじゃないけど、こうゆうバトルになると国産車で一番日産が頼れるんだよな笑

There's some really entertaining about ordinary cars trying to be race cars.
Kind of unfair though, the smaller 335i has a big advantage here.
And turbos!
Not to mention alot more power vs the E350
The 335i should have performed better than it did!!
Yeah... small cars never do well around Tsukuba raceway.
Maybe more fair comparison is a 535i against these

The bmw e90 has 50/50 weight distribution, RWD, shorter wheelbase and over hangs than the other sedans. This is what gives it an advantage at the track.

unsurprisingly the smallest car wins with a big motor wins. They should have used the BMW 5 series instead of the 335i.
That said, I'm really impressed with both Audi A6 and the Infiniti G37
Lets be honest, everyone knew the 335i was going to win this race before it even started! It had a weight and size advantage over all the others. Should have waited for the F10 535i really. The big surprise was the Audi. Big and heavy with AWD that notoriously understeers, yet it held its own pretty well! In the wet it would probably have won!
The Toyota looked quite twitchy in the handling! :-o
I commend humbly the way Japanese professional car warriors drive the way they drive✊🏎😎 I also practice what I love. Drift 👑 💪✊ Orignal Gangster of driving and he is the man who makes cars dance while in pursuit of him and the 🏁

The 335i heatsoaked badly should have won much more easily. The Audi has a supercharger so it didn't heat soak as much. The G37 is NA so it performed consistently. The GS350 and the E350 are simply underpowered.
Spillow I don’t think that was the case here. There’s more here than just peak hp.

I wonder what would have the result been if any of them had manual gearbox :) considering the power differences between them and also such advantages as AWD vs RWD, this looks more like a competition between gearboxes. Surprising that 335i is barely catching the others it took him 5 laps....

..but then the Mark X was the only car that didn't beat its time attack result in the actual race. Based on the race lap times, the Mark X should have started from second on the grid.

Owned 3 of these cars but had 4 of those engines. Aside from just driving skills or Luck, the 335i is hands down the quickest and best handling car. I owned the G37 coupe, 335i, an e350 and a Lexus is 350 (I am assuming it's the same motor in the Mark X).
