I live in Australia and Singapore Airlines is definitely my first choice when wanting to get to Europe. It's just a 5 hour flight to Singapore for me and then lots of easy connections to numerous European cities. Recently have done Singapore to Paris and also Singapore to Zurich , both on 777-300ERs

Great to see you guys again and thanks for the lovely videos and footage. Recently went to Copenhagen to get married and whilst at the airport I did actually wonder about you both. Hope you have a fabulous trip. Singapore have gone downhill since 25 years ago when i flew them last in economy. They used to have real porcelain trays for the main course, 4 course meals and hand out games and playing cards, writing letters and they were great in eco back them
Playing cards are still there. Just have to ask for them ;) While cost cutting is showing, even SIA is not immune to market trends which has shown consumers to be extremely price sensitive. Combined with lots of competition it puts a pressure on yields. Consumers are voting with their wallets, so something has to give in the end. I personally miss the printed menus in Y. I do love the free unlimited WiFi though 😊

We rate SIA as #1 on our list. Currently we are in Thailand after flying with Singapire Airlines yet again. Staff are always lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Found their aircraft are always in good condition unlike Qatar and Emirates who both seem to use very old and worn craft on the Africa routes.
Lovely to hear that you are in beautiful Thailand! Yes, Singapore Airlines is good - basically most of the Asian Airlines give an excellent service which is why we always choose to fly long haul with one of them when the route or budget matches! Enjoy yourselves :-D

I have seen some economy class reviews on Qatar airways and most of their aircrafts has the old seats, and in business class i guess some of the older B77L doesn’t have direct aisle access if you are seated on the window side. Its similar to the older B77W of emirates which also has a 2-2-2 configuration on business - but they started retrofitting them now. So i guess SIA has the most comfy seats and they are well maintained. :-) have a great day greetings from Germany

We loved Singapore airlines. The staff are the best!! I had got up to have a walk around during the flight and went to the back where some of the attendants were. They addressed me by name and asked if I was having a good flight. We were travelling economy, I really wasn’t expecting that!!!! Food was also excellent.

Really nice and for your flight SQ351 there are passengers to MNL on SQ910. If I had to go back to MNL from EWR where SK909/910 ends SQ is my first choice over its major rival in East Asia Philippine Airlines that means for me SQ21 to SQ918 0:45 these Premium economy seats is the same ones on worlds longest flights from NYC to Singapore

So happy to see your trip reports again! Singapore is one of my favourite airlines. Unfortunately, I haven't flown with them since 2018 but it's great to see they didn't lower their standards during the pandemic like quite a few other airlines have.
The standard was very good! Fantastic cabins, personal, food and complimentary snacks! We always enjoy flying with the Asian and Middle Eastern Airlines! :-D

Best flights we did were with Singapore Airlines. ADL-SIN-LHR (had overnight in Singapore and got lunchtime flight to LHR) then JFK-FRA-SIN then SIN-ADL. We were on three a380’s 🎉
Great video, I really missed your trip report videos and it is really nice seeing them back. Just a little comment though, in my opinion, adding a 5-10 minute airport walkthroughs would be a great addition to those videos just like older videos.. I really appreciate your videos and the work you put into them and I actually watch your videos from 6-7 years ago until today. Keep going Maxi and Maro ❤💪🏼

Unfortunately most people want short form content nowadays which is why we now have adapted our edits to shorter vids😉 Airport and flight videos are now two separate parts.
Last year in June, I flew Singapore airlines, Airbus A350-900 from Barcelona to Milan for the 1st time on the 5th freedom flight, flight is good and okay, 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Yes, they are a very nice airline! The Asian and Middle Eastern Airlines still know how to make a Long-haul flight feel special. No, we did not have a Singapore Sling, we actually forgot... maybe it (forgetting) had something to do with the Bloody Marys we had in the lounge before boarding ;-)
That was a very nice flight review ❤❤ the food looks really yummy i felt hungry while watching 👀 :-) i am travelling to Singapore by end of November and looking forward for it. :-) Hope you had a great holiday in Penang,Malaysia :) Greetings from Germany ❤❤

Glad you enjoyed the flight. Singapore Airlines has been on my list of "avoid wherever possible" since a series of bad disappointments some years ago. I hope Air AsiaX can find a workable business model for flights to Europe, if I flew there from Perth I'd want lay flat seats on the long haul flight and Air AsiaX offers those for about the cost of premium economy on the "full service" airlines while actually offering full service.

I flew with them once lhr to Singapore on the 777 300. My expectations were abit higher due to there hype. But I found my expectation was higher than what I experienced. But I would definitely use them again. I don't think there as good as emirates or qatar, but on par with malaysian, turkish,klm. There price point is good tho compared to malaysian, klm,turkish so I would look for singapore over them 3 airlines.
We agree with you regarding high expectations. We think we mentioned the same thing in one of our Singapore Airlines Flight Review videos the first time we tried them. We were also expecting more because of the hype! We have flown with many Asian airlines and have to say that the degree of service is excellent on most of them. We could imagine that perhaps many people who raved about Singapore Airlines have never tried flying with other Asian Airlines that are just as good, we also LOVE Thai Airways! That said Singapore Airlines is excellent and so are the flight attendants, cabins, inflight meals and even the complimentary snacks - at least that is our opinion based on this flight :-D Thanks for watching :-D
These business class seats is very nice indeed. I’ve tried them out in 2022 from CPH 😊. Just missing the part of arriving to the airport, check-in and the terminal tour 🙂
One day we will hopefully get a chance to try them! We will bring airport Check-in etc. back when we start travelling again, but they will be in a separate video. We want to sttart the Tripreport from boarding as many people are not interested in the airport part and vice versa ;-)

It was a good flight and the crew were fantastic! We have never been very impressed with the Economy Class Long-haul flights we have had with Finnair. That said we are always satisfied flying Short-haul with them and have even tried their Short-haul Business Class which was also very good! We are fans of most Asian airlines as the level of service onboard is always much higher than the European airlines! We enjoy them all but are always extra happy when flying with Thai Airways :-D
@@TravellerYTI’ve also tried Thai airways which I agree was really great :) I still need to try one of the middle eastern airlines like Qatar. But for now I’m looking forward for Finnair flight (they also has some really great prices on long haul business class). Hoping for lot more great videos from you guys I always enjoy your videos :)
I'm flying with singapore Airlines from lgw to hkt via changi airport in a few months I will be transmitting in changi and won't clear immigration do I still have to fill in the online arrivals/Immigration form before I fly
Thanks for sharing your opinion. We have not tried flying onboard one of the Singapore Airlines Dreamliners but we have tried them with Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines and can say that we prefer the A350. Maxi is over 6ft tall and found the Dreamliner Economy Class cabins to be very cramped on both airlines.
While flying in premium economy Airbus 350 do not take seat no 33A 33C horrible .you cannot stretch your legs sliding option limited. I have suffered last month in SQ from sanfrancisco to Singapore date of travel 22.08.2024. Stale food served . No water is being supplied. Horrible service. I will never travel by singapore airlines. According to me singapore airlines should be rated rank 15 . Not no1 or 2. Inflight service Horrible.

We have had four Long-haul stretches with Singapore Airlines and are happy to say that all have been good - also the Short-haul flights :-D

We think it was pretty full, probably 100%! Not quite sure how long we slept for, normally we have a light 2-5 hour sleep ;-)

Generally, transit Pax’s don’t have to fill out any Immigration or Customs docs.
But to be certain, call SQ directly and ask them!

I have suffered last month in SQ from sanfrancisco to Singapore date of travel 22.08.2024. Stale food served . No water is being supplied. Horrible service. I will never travel by singapore airlines. According to me singapore airlines should be rated rank 15 . Not no1 or 2. Inflight service Horrible.
